“Jesus. I don’t have words.”
Lucian laughed.
“There’s your wife and our partner.”
When they pulled up to the curb, Ridge hopped out and needed to see her. Wynter ran at him, and when she reached him, he caught her.
Their mouths met.
Lucian could feel what his partner was feeling. His tuner was happy. The man that anchored him now in life was feeling everything for his wife that Lucian felt for his.
Yeah, Wynter was valuable to him.
When he put Wynter down, she headed toward Lucian and hugged him.
He wrapped his arms around her and enveloped her into his body. She could smell her husband on him, and it didn’t bother her at all.
“Hey, big man. Thanks for the ride, or should my husband be saying that.”
Lucian laughed.
His eye twinkled in merriment.
“Funny. Maybe living next to me is a bad idea. You and Bishop are going to be a handful.”
She blinked.
“Pardon?”
Ridge broke the news.
“There’s a mansion next to the Monroes. I’m buying it. We’re going to live next to them so Sophia and Cassia can grow up together, and you and Bishop can have wine Thursdays on the patio.”
She grinned.
“Oh, it won’t be only Thursdays. I can guarantee that. Can we take down that fence?”
Lucian winked.
It was clear they were keeping everything quiet. Julian looked oblivious as to what the two men had done.
That was likely for the best.
They already had a witch on their ass. Raven was going to lecture them and teach them how to make a circle to protect themselves from the dead.
“Like you two won’t demolish it on your own. What’s next? A pool?”
He had a point.
Wynter giggled.
“Oh, boy,” Ridge said, as she winked at him.
Not to feel left out, Julian hugged his partners.
“Thank you for picking us up. I couldn’t reach my wife,” he admitted.
They knew why.
