He likely had the father-in-law believing he was innocent in his daughter’s disappearance.

Oh, they really needed an interview with him.

They just needed to keep building their case against him, and with each interview, they were given more.

“Thank you for your help,” Genesis said. “When we get him, I’ll give you a call and let you know that your friend got her justice.”

She nodded and blew her nose.

“Aimee just wanted to be loved. That’s what everyone wants. He made her feel special, and then hurt her. He’s disgusting.”

Yes, yes, he was.

That was NOT an exaggeration.

Getting up, they headed out to their car. Once inside, they talked it over.

“He probably was the last person who saw her alive,” Bishop said. “It’s pointing at him more and more,” she admitted.

Tori had to agree.

“I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but with the planner, we know he likely was there waiting for the woman. Damn. I hate losing a bet. I really believed that someone was setting him up.”

Bishop understood.

“Hey, the bottom line is we find them, and we find them fast. That’s the point.”

She agreed.

“Well, are we going to the hotel to talk to the people who worked with Marny?” Tori asked.

Genesis had a better plan.

“We will, but how about we swing by that boutique and see what was going on?”

Bishop agreed.

“If people are starting to disappear again, we need to cut the killer off at the pass. If that blonde was banging the attorney…”

Yeah, they had to try to save her.

“Then, let’s do some shopping,” Tori said.

The radio came to life.

“I. HAVE. THE. COMPANY. CARD. LET’S. GO. HOG. WILD. CAN. WE. BUY. A. GAMBLING. MACHINE. FOR. THE. OFFICE?”

It had been too quiet the last hour.

“Were you off gambling?” Tori asked her brother.

He didn’t hesitate.

“MAYBE.”

“TREY! You know you can’t do that! You can’t alter the machines to make people win in a casino!”

The radio spun, but he didn’t say anything.
