This was all about Hailey and Bodhi.
Oh, and no one deserved it more.
They’d had a rough start, him being accused of serial murders, and her being shot trying to save his life. This would be a spectacular surprise.
Yeah, she really wasn’t going to expect it.
Why?
When she was recovering in the hospital, after taking a bullet to the chest, Bodhi had planned on a quickie wedding to ensure that she was his forever.
That was until he found out the truth about Hailey’s past.
Apparently, Hailey and Jake, her deceased husband, had a quickie wedding at the courthouse where she didn’t even get to buy a pretty dress.
She didn’t get the chance to be a blushing bride.
That was what made him decide to stop that quickie wedding procession to the courthouse.
The second he heard that the woman he loved had never been spoiled and pampered, he knew that this wedding, her last, and his first, needed to be something memorable.
Oh, and it would be.
So, because he loved her more than anything, Bodhi made that happen. The woman carrying his unborn child was going to get her dream.
This was all for her.
Because Hailey was his world, and she’d sacrificed herself to a crazy who was hellbent on killing him to get even with Anders, his father, Bodhi wanted to go big.
Not over the top big, but more like something Hailey would never have expected. As a single mother, there was no way she’d spoil herself, so he was going to do that.
It was his job.
Hailey was his soulmate, and he vowed to her dead husband that he’d make her happy for the rest of his, and her, lives.
So here they were, under the guise of it being a girl’s weekend away, and Hailey was none the wiser that he’d schemed and used her work friends to trick her.
This was perfect.
Tori had been amused that when Bodhi kissed his bride-to-be goodbye, she had been oblivious.
She hadn’t a clue.
Hailey was in the dark.
So far, it was all going smoothly for ‘Operation Love’, and Tori couldn’t imagine it going off the rails anytime soon.
It all began when they landed outside Salt Lake City. As soon as they touched down, they drove to the fancy resort that was going to be hosting the wedding. It was well-known for its magical winter destination weddings.
Bodhi told them all that he wanted her to see the location, and then also have a few days to just be a woman on the cusp of marriage.
He wanted his wife-to-be to have some time with the people she loved.
Yeah, he was a keeper.
Bodhi was a sweet man, and the Littlemoons…they loved him.
They definitely approved of Hailey marrying him. Bodhi was doting, sweet, and he was always there to make Hailey happy.
