Trey was known to pop in and scare him, and he was twitchy enough.

She explained.

“Lucian had an issue in the static, and it pulled him back in. Ridge had to pull them out, and they kissed.”

He blinked.

“All three of them?”

Wynter found that amusing.

“I’m not sure how that would happen, but no. Lucian and Ridge made out. It’s a whole story, and now Lucian is freaked out, Ridge is afraid he’s losing his best friend, and I’m on my way to calm them down.”

He wasn’t questioning it since he knew that Lucian and Ridge had a chemistry that you couldn’t miss. When they came together, there was electricity.

Their gifts matched up.

“What’s Bishop doing?”

She laughed.

“Likely enjoying the discomfort of the whole situation. You know Bish.”

Yeah, he did.

“Are you angry?” he asked.

“That my husband was making out with Lucian to get out of the static? No. I get it. They’re a couple.”

Julian said nothing.

Why?

They all knew that the only thing that kept Lucian and Ridge from being a couple was they already had wives before they met.

Tori and Julian saw it, and so did the dead. The dead had repeatedly told them that Lucian and Ridge had souls that wanted to connect.

Soulmates, of sorts.

No one talked about it because they didn’t want to hurt Bishop and Wynter, but the men…

They really were a couple.

“Are they okay?” Julian inquired as he checked his phone and found nothing in his texts.

Wynter nodded.

“I just feel like I need to be there for them. I was entering the airport and I saw you. Want a lift?” she asked.

He kissed her on the mouth.

“Wynter Hunterhurst, you are my salvation.”

She snorted.

“There’s a whole lot of kissing the wrong spouse going on with this company. It’s like the universe shifted.”

He snorted.
