“Don’t worry, Jules,” Connor said. “We’ll be on our best behavior.”
Then, he laughed.
Oh, hell.
They had to be kidding.
Right?
Julian wasn’t sure if he wanted to know. Maybe the less he knew was better.
With this tribe, that was probably right, but at least they’d worked it out. The Littlemoons were back on track.
For now.

Outside
Police Station
Saturday Morning
As soon as they were outside, Bexley and Hailey saw the men they loved, and ran at them.
They were a sight for sore eyes.
Hailey jumped, wrapping her legs around her fiancé’s waist as she found his mouth with hers.
The kiss was nuclear.
In fact, it made Tori and Bishop clap.
Someone missed her man.
When Hailey finally broke the lip lock, Bodhi took her face in his hands to stare into her eyes.
“Baby, are you okay?” he asked.
She had her own questions.
“I’m fine but what are you doing here, Bo? You are on call at work! You should be there.”
Nope.
He needed to be near her.
Bodhi held her, resting his forehead against hers to connect them. His fiancée was still holding onto him, her legs wrapped around his hips.
“Baby, you needed me. of course, I was coming. Don’t worry about work. I called in a few favors. As for Holly, she’s with Pryce.”
She kissed him again because he was a good man, and she was lucky.
What would she do without him?
Hailey would be lost.
That was for sure.
