“This is Dash Meadows’s shirt. I don’t care what you think of it. Also, if you’re a good boy, I’ll lick your cock the entire way home.”

“I really don’t want to hear this conversation,” I interjected.

“Don’t care,” Cat sang. “I didn’t need to see Jordan stick his tongue down your throat, but you didn’t hear me complain.”

“That’s because you’re here to see Dash. You were hardly paying attention to me.”

“True. And look what I got!” She lifted the collar of the shirt, bringing it to her nose to inhale it.

“You need therapy.”

“Nah, just Dash and Dana.”

“Just Dana,” her husband corrected.

“Whatever.”

The band signed more autographs and mingled with the crowd. No one new came in during their set or after. The restaurant basically shut down to new customers so as not to cause chaos, but I still saw people looking through the windows.

Hartley had his head on my shoulder and my hand was in Jordan’s. While there was a lot of noise and commotion around us, we were content where we were. We weren’t starstruck by the band. Jordan was just a man, and we were his partners having dinner with family. That was all.

For tonight, everything else fell away while we pretended we were ordinary. Out on a date, enjoying each other’s company and a great meal with family and friends.

JORDAN

Why did every good night end in a pile of shit? I wanted one fucking night with my men, where we enjoyed ourselves and didn’t have some other bullshit happen.

The drive home from the restaurant was good. Vail went down on me while Albert put earbuds in and focused on the road. He even turned the rearview mirror away, so he saw nothing. With the darkened night sky, no one else would either. Except Hartley, who had turned and watched from the front seat as I spilled down Vail’s throat. Vail promptly kissed Hartley afterward to share my cum with him.

Our night was shattered when we arrived home to find Barry waiting in the garage with another fucking note in his hand from Gil. “He used a different courier this time. I asked the woman if she got an address for the sender and would make it worth her while, but she said it was paid for in cash with no information. I described Gil to her. She said it wasn’t him who dropped it off for delivery.”

“Of course not,” I bit out. Gil was a plague on my city, on my life. I needed him gone.

Vail took the note and read it before handing it to me. I hated the way his face went blank, all emotion bleeding from him. Vail had multiple ways he dealt with the emotions Gil brought forth in him. From tears to throwing up to checking out, Vail handled it in the ways he knew how, honed from years of having to put up with abuse.

I looked at the note, reading the words.

Darling,

The cabin is yours now, the deed is in your name. I hope you’ll visit alone and spend time in one of the places I made a home with you. Where we shared countless memories I won’t ever forget.

Nights with my cock buried in your ass.

In your throat.

When I fucked you until you screamed.

Where you slept in my arms.

Where I fed you from my fingers.

You're mine, darling, and always will be.

With love,

Gil
