Anna stiffened, wondering what Devin would think if he saw Tommy holding her. He kissed and nipped at the skin of her neck and upper shoulder. “Tommy, we shouldn’t...” He turned her around to face him and pressed his lips against hers, kissing her deeply. But I’m not supposed to say no... She hugged him around his neck and kissed him back.

A throat clearing from behind made them jump apart.

Tom stood in the doorway with the man from the hallway. Tom raised his eyebrows and frowned before introducing the man next to him. “Tommy, this is Jake Cloverfield, the House Master of your dorm.”

Tommy walked over to the man and shook his hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, sir. I’ve heard a lot about you.”

Jake laughed. “Don’t believe everything your dad says about me. I’m more fun than I used to be.”

Tom rolled his eyes to the ceiling. “God, please make sure my son learns something this year.” He chuckled. “If you’re more fun than you used to be, then I’ll be paying a lot of money for Tommy to party.”

Tommy laughed along with the older men. Anna stayed next to the window, twisting her fingers together. She was thankful Tom had found them together and not Devin.

Jake looked beyond Tommy at Anna. “And who’s this pretty little thing? High school sweetheart?”

Tommy looked back at Anna with an adoring look, and she dropped her gaze to the floor. It wasn’t right for Tommy to look at her like he did.

“I wish. No, this is Anna. She’s . . . uh . . .”

“She belongs to me.”

Anna snapped her head up at the sound of Devin’s voice. He stood in the doorway behind Jake.

Jake turned and furrowed his brow in confusion. “I thought Tyler was your oldest, Dev.”

“Tyler is my oldest. Anna’s not my daughter.” Devin slipped through the door and motioned for Anna to come to him, which she did immediately. He caressed the back of her neck. “She’s my mistress.”

Jake’s eyebrows raised as high as they could possibly go. “Mistress? Damn. I’m in the wrong profession. Or the wrong city.” He shot Tommy a disapproving look. “Are you going to be in trouble, Tommy?”

“What? No, I?—‍”

“We walked in and saw Tommy and Anna kissing,” Tom explained.

Devin chuckled. “Can’t keep your hands off her, can you? It’s a good thing Harvard’s not in San Francisco.” Devin looked at Jake, who was frowning at Tommy. “I’m very generous with her, Jake. Tommy didn’t do anything wrong.”

The men talked while Tommy unpacked, and Anna stood silently next to Devin, staring at the wooden floor. Yes, Devin was generous with her but seemed upset any time Tommy approached her. It would be better if...

Something touched her hand and she jumped. She looked up to see Jake reaching for her. The door had been closed and Devin stared at her, eyebrows raised in expectation.

Jake pulled her to himself. He slid his hand around the back of her hip and he walked her backward until she hit the wall. He lifted her skirt up to her hips and slipped his hand into her panties. “God, so fucking hot.” He turned her around, pressing her into the wall, and pulled her panties down to her ankles. A moment later, he pushed himself inside her.

Anna closed her eyes as he pumped himself into her, grunting and holding her hips tightly. She moved as best she could, but he pressed so hard against her it was challenging to do anything but take him.

To Anna’s relief, he started groaning within a few minutes and came hard inside her. When he finished, he pulled out and returned to where Devin and Tom stood near the door, talking. Anna leaned her head against the wall for a moment longer, then fixed her clothing and went to stand quietly next to Devin. She could feel Tommy’s gaze on her, but didn’t dare look up.

Tyler walked in a moment later. “I was wondering where everyone went.” Over the weekend, he’d started treating Anna like the other Elder-Sons did. And Devin when he was upset with her. Her heart raced every time he came near for fear he would hurt her again. But thankfully, this time, he kept his distance. “I wanna go look around.”

“Do you have everything, Tommy?” Tom asked, looking around.

Tommy nodded.

“Good. Shall we look around the campus?”

“Sure,” Tommy answered in a low voice, glaring at Devin, his jaw clenched.

The men disappeared out into the hallway and Anna drew in a deep breath before hurrying down the stairs to catch up.

They ate lunch at a nearby restaurant, then wandered around the campus for a few hours. Tommy tried to get her attention whenever Devin was distracted, but Anna still couldn’t bring herself to look at him.
