He chuckled and nuzzled her neck as he moved forward. She wrapped her legs around his hips, impatient for him to take her completely. He smiled. “Am I going too slow?”
She nodded, gasping for breath. “Yes. Too slow.”
“I don’t want to hurt you, Liebe.” But he increased his speed.
She pulled him deeper with her legs and he grinned and thrust forward suddenly. She gasped, eyes widening as he hit something deep inside.
“Are you alright?”
“I liked that,” she said breathlessly.
His brows shot up. “Really?”
She nodded earnestly.
He grinned, pulled back, then thrust forward again.
Alex could hardly believe that Anna enjoyed his powerful thrusts. He could rarely indulge in such things unless he didn’t care about the comfort of his partner. But her eyes were closed, lips parted, cheeks flushed, and she moaned in pleasure with every thrust. God, she really was the woman of his dreams, able to take him fully and completely.
She stiffened suddenly, mouth in an ‘o’, and he froze, concerned that he’d hurt her. Her back arched and she cried out his name, clenching around him with such intensity that he came without warning. He thrust deep into her, his eyes closing, his entire body convulsing with pleasure. He couldn’t think. Couldn’t breathe. The pounding of his heart in his ears was deafening.
When he was able, he fell to his side and rolled onto his back, pulling Anna on top of him. He brushed her hair away from her face and gazed into her sparkling eyes. “You really enjoyed that? Tell me the truth,” he commanded.
She blinked twice. “Yes, Alex. I really did. Is that bad?” She furrowed her brows and hurt filled her previously bright eyes.
Alex sighed, feeling guilty about commanding the truth out of her. “I didn’t want you to say yes if you didn’t mean it.”
She bit her lip and looked thoughtful for a long moment, then nodded. “I really did,” she said softly.
“I know.” He beamed at her. “You are the first woman I’ve been able to... indulge in with strong movements like that.” At least the first who’d enjoyed it. He knew he could be forceful in his rages after a mission, but he purposely sought out Devin’s Red Girls as soon as he returned to avoid the risk of hurting someone unwillingly. Maybe if Anna could fully take him... maybe he didn’t have to go to the bastard’s Manor anymore?
No. She’d been hurt enough. He wouldn’t risk being a source of fear and pain. She’d had enough of that in her life.
Anna kissed him and sat up. “I have to get ready.”
And he had things to do, too. “While you get ready, I will go get us some breakfast.” He watched Anna’s bare ass sway as she walked to the bathroom. “Down, boy,” he told his stirring cock, and then rolled his eyes at himself.
Anna stood in the shower, a small smile on her face, and sighed. Alex was everything other people had said he was. And more. She felt as if... as if she’d come alive in his arms. More alive than she’d ever been before, except for when she danced. How was that even possible? How could a man make her feel... alive? It was more than his skills in bed, though. It was... him. Something about him made her come to life.
As she pulled her hair up into a ponytail, she paused and bit her lip. Was she just imagining it? Was she just falling for him because he was nice and a good lover?
She leaned her hands on the vanity and hung her head, thinking back to the previous night. No. Though she wasn’t certain she made him feel as alive as he did to her, she knew he profoundly cared for her. She saw it in his eyes and felt it in his heart. Even now, as he was out getting breakfast, she could feel her heart tied to his.
Smiling and feeling light as a feather, she finished wrapping her long hair into her customary bun and then went into her bedroom to dress.
The apartment door unlocked and opened as she was pulling on her shorts over her tights and leotard. Alex appeared in the bedroom doorway a moment later, looking pleased. “I got lots of food,” he grinned, holding up a large paper bag. “I’ll go set it up in the kitchen.” As he left, she caught a whiff of something delicious and her stomach growled.
She yanked on her t-shirt and hurried to the kitchen, but froze in her tracks at the sight of the amount of food Alex had set out. Fruit, muffins, eggs, and juice. “Alex...”
He gave a sheepish smile. “I didn’t know what you liked.”
She grinned and kissed his cheek before filling a plate and sat down at the kitchen table. “I might regret eating this much, but I’m so hungry.”
Alex pressed his lips together and shook his head. “I’m sorry, Schatzi. I should have?—”
“It’s okay, Alex. Really.” She smiled and put her hand on his. “I really enjoyed last night.”
A grin spread across his face and he tilted his head. “I did too,” he said in a soft voice that sent delicious shivers through her body.
