His heart overflowed with love as she opened her sleepy eyes and smiled at him. “Hi.”
He stroked her cheek with the back of his fingers. “Good morning, Schatzi.”
He leaned forward and kissed her, letting her feel his desire for her. She ran her hands up his side and around his back, pressing her soft body to his. Her hips pressed against his erection and he groaned. He cupped her ass, and she hooked her ankle around his hips, opening her pussy for him to delve his fingers into.
He pushed her onto her back and positioned himself at her entrance. She looked up at him with desire-filled eyes. “Please,” she whispered.
He needed no further encouragement. He sank himself into her hot, silken folds and groaned softly. “I love you, Anna.”
She gazed up at him with love in her eyes. “I love you, Alex.”
Anna held Alex’s hand tightly as they made their way to the ballet studio. Butterflies and bees filled her stomach once more. Her friends knew she’d gone to Germany over the holiday break, but they’d also known that she hadn’t wanted to go. Now she was coming back married to the most eligible bachelor in San Francisco.
Alex squeezed her hand. “Everything will be alright, Schatzi,” he said softly as he opened the door to the studio. She walked inside with Alex right behind her.
“Anna!”
She looked around for the owner of the familiar voice, then smiled when she saw Travis making his way to her. She grinned and hurried to him to hug him.
He hugged her tightly, then pulled away and studied her face. “Well, don’t you look happy! What happened?”
Alex strode up behind her. “Hello, Travis.”
“Alex!” Travis grinned. “When did you get back in town? Are you staying?”
Alex put his arm around Anna’s waist. “We got back into town Thursday morning, and yes, I’m staying.”
“We?” Travis raised his eyebrows.
Alex held Anna’s left hand up, displaying the many sparkling diamonds she wore on her ring finger.
“Holy shit! You guys got married?”
The news spread like a wildfire and within minutes, well-wishers had surrounded them. Thankfully, Alex stayed right next to her and fielded the questions. And there were many questions, since there had been no hint as to any affection between the two of them. Alex explained that he’d been in love with Anna for months and wanted everything to be a surprise for her.
Anna spotted Jenna and she hurried over to hug her friend hard. “I’m so happy for you, Anna,” Jenna said. “I told Matt the reasons behind it. He’ll get over it. He just needs to get used to the idea.”
Anna blinked back tears and nodded. “I hope so. I never wanted to hurt anyone.”
Jenna nodded. “I know. I understand why you guys did it the way you did.” She hugged Anna again. “I’m glad you’re safe.”
“Anna,” Alex called from across the room. He motioned to the stairs.
She looked back at Jenna. “We need to go talk to Isaak. I’ll see you later.” She hurried to where Alex was waiting, and they walked up the stairs toward Isaak’s office.
Alex knocked on the open wooden door and Isaak looked up from his desk and smiled. “Anna, you’re back! Alex?” He stood and walked around his desk. “What brings you in?”
Anna squeezed Alex’s hand and he raised his eyebrows. She nodded.
“We wanted to let you know about some news,” Alex said.
“Oh?”
“We got married.”
Isaak smiled and nodded. Very little seemed to ever surprise the ballet master. He looked between the two of them, then tilted his head and looked at Anna. “Are you happy?”
Anna nodded her head enthusiastically. “Oh, yes.” She gave Alex an adoring look. “Very much so.”
