“Husbands always have something to do with their wife’s emotions. If I treated Kelsey the way you treat Sandy, she’d be a whiny bitch too.”

“So what are you saying? I should go home and try to fix my marriage?”

Tom rolled his eyes. “I’m not telling you to do anything. I’m just... suggesting... that if you want Anna to be happy, then you at least need to pretend to care about her. If you want Sandy to stop whining, then be nicer and treat her like you did when you guys were dating.”

Devin sighed. He was beyond caring what Sandy did. But Anna... “I can’t have Anna not sleeping with other men. That’s where her power is.”

“I don’t think that’s what upsets her, Dev. She wants to please you. Anyone can see that. But having her punished because she accidentally disobeys isn’t the way to keep her happy.”

“If I punish her when she accidentally does something, there will be fewer mistakes. It’s been effective in the past.”

Tom frowned. He stared hard at Tommy and Anna up the path, his brows furrowed with worry.

Tyler stopped and waited for Tom and Devin to catch up. “Why’d you have her go to Tommy and not me?”

Devin sighed. “Because he likes her.”

“I like her too.” He pursed his lips.

“You want to fuck her—which is fine. But right now, Anna needs some... emotional connection.” He waved his hand in the air. “Besides, you can have her anytime you’re home. Tommy won’t see her until April.”

“True.” Tyler grinned. “I hope I can find a girl here that can fuck half as good as Anna can.”

Devin chuckled. “Well, if you can’t, call up Oscar. The Manor’s not far from here.”

“I forgot about that. Good. My dick won’t fall off from non-use.” Tyler turned and jogged back to Tommy and Anna.

Tom and Devin walked together in silence for a bit. Tommy said something, and Anna giggled, her eyes sparkling at him.

“She’s a good girl, Devin,” Tom said, watching her. “Don’t hurt her too badly, or you’ll break her.”

The group ate dinner at a restaurant near the campus, then walked back to the dorm. Tommy and Tyler had a meet-and-greet to get to know the rest of their dorm-mates.

“Come over when you wake up,” Tommy said, standing close to Anna as they stood by his dad’s SUV. The hotel was within walking distance of the dorm.

Glancing at Devin stepping into the vehicle, she still wondered why he was suddenly okay with her spending time with Tommy. “I don’t know what time I’ll be up.”

Tommy grinned. “If you come over early, you can get into bed with me.”

Anna smiled. “That would be nice.”

“I wish you could stay the night with me tonight.” He ran his hand up and down her arms, then pulled her close and kissed her.

“C’mon, Tommy!” Tyler called from the steps of the dorm.

Tommy pulled away slowly, his lips lingering on hers. He rested his forehead on Anna’s and cupped her cheeks. “I’ll miss you tonight.”

“Me too.”

“Tommy!”

Tommy groaned, then sighed. “Alright. I’ll see you in the morning?” Anna nodded, and Tommy grinned. He kissed her once more, then turned and hurried to catch up with his friend. He glanced back and waved at Anna, then turned away and disappeared into the building.

“Anna,” Devin said, motioning to the back door of the vehicle. She got into the SUV and they drove to their hotel.

Chapter 117

Anna woke up early, her heart fluttering with excitement at the thought of seeing Tommy. Quietly dressing, she tiptoed around the room to avoid waking Devin, and then made her way along the streets lined with tall, leafy trees to reach Tommy’s dorm. The peaceful morning was filled with the soft chirping of birds and the gentle rustling of leaves, along with a few early risers enjoying the cool, crisp air.
