He shrugged.

Kathy glanced over to where Richard and Sabrina were talking softly and gave him a sympathetic

smile. “She loves you.”

“I know.”

“She still will tomorrow.”

Chase gave a small shrug, not knowing how to respond. Richard and Sabrina finished talking and

Chase took her hand and led her into the small lounge near the front of the building.

About twenty people had arrived. Chase moved his hand to Sabrina’s smooth back as he guided

pleasure to meet you, Sabrina,” he murmured before straightening and glancing down at her cleavage

again.

Jim, shorter than Malcolm, with close-cropped blond hair and brown eyes, raised his brows at

Chase before giving Sabrina a friendly smile. “Very nice to meet you.”

Chase appreciated Jim’s subtle greeting.

Sabrina’s cheeks turned pink at their attentions and she stepped back into Chase’s embrace. He

didn’t think she was scared, just shy. Chase’s chest expanded as he wrapped his arm around Sabrina’s
