Sabrina glanced at Ethan and then looked at Chase. “I wanted . . . more.”

“You think I’d be upset about that?”

She nodded.

He laughed softly and pulled her into his arms. “Not at all, my love.” He smiled at Ethan. “He’s a

good-looking guy. Why wouldn’t you want more?”

She snapped her head sideways to look at him, eyes wide. “Really?”

He laughed. “Well, I was kinda teasing, but I can’t blame you. You’re who you are and I don’t

fault you for anything that goes through your mind.” He tipped up her head with his finger. “If you

need more, tell me. Tell him. It’s okay. Really.”

She pressed her lips together and closed her eyes. “I’m okay now.”

He looked up at Ethan, who gave him a look he couldn’t quite read. He didn’t look upset, but a

little worried and apologetic. Chase kissed Sabrina’s temple. “Are you really okay?”

She opened her eyes and chewed the inside of her cheek. “Yeah.”

The only thing he might be upset about was not being able to watch, but he didn’t know if he had

the discipline to keep his hands to himself tonight.

“One week from today we’ll be married and be able to do whatever we want.”

She smiled up at him and his heart lightened.

“Promise me you’ll talk to one of us if you start feeling this way again. It’s perfectly natural and I

don’t want you struggling. Okay?” She tried to look away, but he cupped her chin and made her look

at him. “Promise me.”

“I promise.”

He grinned. “If you don’t keep your promise, I’m going to have Ethan spank you.”

Her eyes widened and lips parted.

Even though he meant it as a joke, he realized he probably shouldn’t have said it. The image of

her bare ass in the air with Ethan’s handprint on it made him swallow several times. He leaned back

and sucked in a cooling breath. “Sorry.”

Ethan pulled out his phone and looked at it. “Jayson’s on his way up.”

“How do you know?” Chase asked. “Where was he?”

“His date with Lia. I told him to let me know so I don’t get an adrenaline rush every time someone

comes to the door. It’s exhausting.”
