His mom stood and stretched beside him. “Wow. She’s even better than before.”

Richard and Kathy, who sat next to his mom, nodded in agreement. All around him, Chase heard

people exclaiming their awe for Sabrina’s dancing. His chest puffed out with pride.

They made their way out to the atrium and Grace nudged Chase, motioning to the table in the

middle of the room where the signed pointe shoes were displayed. A large crowd had gathered

around, all focused on one pair—Sabrina’s.

“Told you,” Damian said, appearing next to Chase. “Didn’t I?”

“You did.” Chase looked over at the man. “I’m impressed with your foresight.”

When the curtain fell after the finale, the applause was the most enthusiastic Chase had ever

heard. He beamed with pride for his love.

S ABRINA HURRIED OFFSTAGE, HEART SOARING IN THE CLOUDS . HOW COULD SHE HAVE GARNERED AS

much applause as Jayson and Rachel? They, and Matt, were the true stars of the show. Not her.

Martin hugged Sabrina hard. “I knew you could do it, Sabrina. I’m so proud of you.”

“Thanks, Martin,” she murmured into his shoulder, blinking back tears of happiness.

“So proud.” He cupped her cheek and beamed down at her. “Now go get ready. I’ll see you out

there.”

She nodded and turned to find Ethan right behind her. He slipped his arm around her shoulders as
