he pushed himself to his knees and looked up at Damian, eyes bright with devotion. “My Lord and
Master,” he said in a hoarse voice.
Damian grinned. “I have a task for you.”
“Anything, my lord.”
“Kill the vice president.” He handed Hale a handgun and motioned to the grass. Normally, he
would have done it himself, but the president assassinating his second in command in front of
everyone was a show of Damian’s power he couldn’t resist.
President Hale, naked with his face covered in his own cum, walked down the steps and stopped

Alex went directly to the meeting tent where the Elders still sat, talking.
Chase sat down next to Lance at the fire, his mind whirring with what he’d seen at the Gathering
site. The bloody image of the vice president made him shudder.
He rubbed his face, trying to make sense of it all. Was there anything they could do to stop this?
Maybe kill everyone at the Gathering, but that wouldn’t stop Damian. He’d just find new followers.
But if there weren’t Elders in the world . . .
“Chase!”
Chase looked up to see Alex motioning to him from the meeting tent. He glanced at Lance as he
