“Richard!” Chase screamed as Damian laughed.
“I can’t . . .” He pressed against the wall, murmuring low unknown words. “I can’t . . .”
A flash of light exploded from Damian and both Richard and Chase held up their hands to shield
their eyes and turned away.
Damian leaned forward. “Scream all you want now. They will watch you fade and become mine and
there’s nothing they or you can do about it.”
Sabrina screamed Chase’s name as Damian continued his slow thrusts into her body. She reached
for her husband. Her beloved. The love of her life. Chase pushed against the golden wall,
determination in his face.
“It doesn’t matter that you changed your mind. You spread your legs for me and invited me in. I am
here now.” His face twisted into a sickening grin. “I will finish what I began so long ago.”
He gave long, hard thrusts into her body, and try as she might, she couldn’t stop him. The rhythm
hypnotized her as she stared at Chase, his figure going blurry. A darkness wrapped around her and
Damian and black chains appeared out of the shadows. They wrapped around her first and then
Damian, drawing their bodies together. His chest pressed against hers. She could hardly breathe.
Over Damian’s shoulder, she saw a chain lift high into the air and plunge downward,
disappearing into his back. He grunted as it buried itself into his body.
“Mine, Sabrina.”
Fire erupted in her chest as she knew the chain had pushed through Damian’s body and was
burrowing into her own. They were tied together and she could not escape.
She would never be with Chase again.
Sabrina let out an unearthly howl.

A DARKNESS HAD ENVELOPED DAMIAN AND S ABRINA, AND CHASE CLENCHED HIS FISTS AND TIGHTENED
his jaw as he stared. The entire corner behind the golden barrier had just disappeared. Sabrina
screamed and screamed. He punched and kicked at the barrier, trying to get to her, but when the howl
reached his ears, he fell to his knees.
“What happened?” he whispered, staring into the blackness.
Richard didn’t answer.
A laugh came from the darkness, low and filled with evil. Familiar. Chase jumped to his feet.
