do. He’d do anything to keep you safe.” He paused. “Maybe this is how things were meant to be.”
She tilted her head. She started to try to read his emotions but stopped. She didn’t want to intrude
into his private thoughts. “Because of how Ethan feels about us?”

“Similar, but it’s different.” He shook his head. “I don’t know how to explain it.”
“How did you two get so close?”

into The Brotherhood, he was nervous about the initiation process. You know, Richard fucking him
