When the cooler air on his skin indicated he was back on earth, he opened his eyes and stood. He
stalked across the room to his phone. His chest grew hot, and he clenched his fists and jaw as he
listened to the message from Lia. Chase and Sabrina had gotten married that morning!
Why had Richard allowed them to marry without it being made public? And why hadn’t Lia
known about it ahead of time? Why hadn’t Jayson told her?

Damian threw his phone across the room and stalked through the house to the lower rooms where
