Chase glanced at his phone as it vibrated on the bathroom vanity. Ethan. He finished pulling on his

long-sleeved black shirt and tapped the speaker button. “Hey.”

“She’s okay.” Ethan’s voice was tight.

“Are you?”

“I think so,” he said after a moment of silence. “I used my hand on her. Now my dick’s as hard as

a rock.”

Chase chuckled, and he heard Ethan do the same. “Thank you.”

“I tasted her. After. Couldn’t stop myself.”

Chase closed his eyes, heat flooding his body. “Can’t say I blame you.”

“You’re not mad?”

“Why would I be mad?”

“Feels selfish.”

“How does she taste?” Chase’s voice grew hoarse.

Ethan sighed. “Like heaven.”

One week . . . “Thank you for helping her.”

“Yeah.”

They were silent for a long moment. “I’d suggest going to the Manor, but I don’t know how long

I’ll be. I have to go get something.”

“Something?”

“Files. An employee ripped off a new software design and I need to go get them back.”

“You’re not going alone, are you?”

“Corey’s got the cameras.”

Ethan sighed.

“Ethan, it’s a computer nerd. It’s not like he’s going to meet me with an arsenal.”

“Corey would.”

Chase chuckled. He would. “This isn’t that type of guy. I’ve met him a few times. He’s harmless.”

“Corey can look harmless, too.”

Chase sighed not knowing how to respond. Ethan wasn’t wrong.

“You really need someone else in town to go on jobs with you.”
