I continue exploring her exposed skin with my fingers and my lips, finding what she likes as she continues to run her fingers through my hair and down to my shoulders. I get a little more confident the more I see that she is enjoying this. I run my fingers up from her hands to her shoulder and then lightly stroke her collarbone. My lips come back up to her ear as I quietly ask her, “Can I touch you, Sasha, please?”

She makes a soft moaning sound as she arches into my touch. And I’m not sure if it’s from my fingers or my mouth or my words. “Yes, Matt. I need you to touch me, please.” I smile against her neck.

“Was it the touching or the words that got you all breathy for me, sunshine?”

“All of it. I think the ‘please’ was pretty amazing. But can we stop talking and get back to the kissing and touching please?” She smiles at me as my lips meet hers again and my fingers continue their exploration. My hands roam down the torso of her tank and I am starting to be annoyed at the sports bra choice today. It will keep me moderately well behaved out here though, so that may be a good thing. I can feel her hardened nipples through the bra, and that does more to spur me on than I was expecting.

“Someone is liking this,” I mumble to her as I continue to explore her curves. I love that I don’t feel like I am going to break her. She feels incredible underneath me and the way she arches into my touch shows me she is liking this. Just confirming the words she has already told me and the way she guides my hands and lips to where she wants by her subtle movements. I adjust over her so I can get better access to her other breast and then freeze – because I am very hard, and Sasha can now feel just how hard she is making me.

“It appears we both are.” She responds to me, an obvious smile in her voice, as she drags her hand down my shirt to start untucking it. I take a few deep breaths to steady myself as I look into her eyes.

“I’m not sure we should do this out here where anyone can walk up. It is the middle of the morning and we are not alone out here.” And the timing could not have been more perfect because suddenly, there’s voices approaching. We scramble apart quickly and get ourselves adjusted before a group of teenage boys comes around the corner. I’m picking up the blanket and Sasha is placing the hat back on her head just as they get close enough to chat.

“There’s no snakes back here, right?” One of the boys asks us.

“Not that we’ve seen.” I respond and then grab Sasha’s hand so we can make our way back to the trail. Her giggles follow me as we hurry away from other potential questions. I’m definitely feeling like a teenager almost getting caught making out behind the bleachers rather than a fully grown consenting adult right now. I love it though. This woman does amazing things to me.

“So, are we going to finish the hike or head back?” I ask her.

“Can we head up to the falls and then head back? I wouldn’t mind going back now, but I desperately want to at least see the falls before we call it a day.”

“As you wish, Sunshine.” I wink at her as we continue up again.

“Where did the Sunshine come from?”

“You have a light in you that makes me happy. I enjoy talking to you and you bring joy to those around you. People gravitate towards you and it’s obvious that you have a positive effect on them. So, Sunshine.” It’s obvious to me but it might not have been obvious to her so I have no problem sharing my thoughts with her.

She smiles at me then takes a few steps ahead of me on the trail.

“Enjoy the view on the way up, mister.” And she takes off. I chuckle and then I am right behind her. And I absolutely am enjoying this view.

The falls were absolutely spectacular. Horsetooth isn’t a very long hike and the falls are small, but it’s a quiet place in the middle of the busy college town of Fort Collins. The college campus isn’t far away, so it’s full of college students taking a break from the beginning of class and teachers who are doing the same. A few photographers of all ages and backgrounds come to use the space for both nature photos and portraits. Surprisingly, there were no families at the falls today. I’m sure that will be different on Saturday morning. Since it is an easier hike, many local families use it as a way to help their little ones learn how to hike and prepare for the more difficult trails nearby.

And having Matt standing beside me, looking at the water, his hand in mine – that was quite possibly my favorite hike I’ve made up to Horsetooth Falls. It wasn’t my first time there with someone I have been dating, but this one felt different. He feels different. I feel so at ease with him, like he actually knows me. Not just what he thinks he knows about me. But who I am truly and completely.

We finish up our hike and head back to the coffee shop to get some work done, I head inside to change while Matt grabs us a table. I need to wear more than my booty shorts to be in “work mode.” I touch up my makeup a little then head out into the main space. Matt makes eye contact with me and I can feel the blush come up on my cheeks to match the same color on his.

“You look refreshed, this is for you.” He says as he hands me the one of the cups of coffee in front of him.

I sit down and take a sip of the coffee. Why are these always so good when he orders them? “For someone who doesn’t drink much coffee, you seriously know what you are doing when you order for me.”

“As far as the coffee orders go, I know the basic things of what you like and don’t like and have spent a bit of time looking up coffee orders that you may like and I’m just gradually going through the list.”

“So, there’s more that I haven’t tried yet? I thought I had already tried most of what was out there as options.” I ask with a bit of surprise in my voice. He chuckles softly before looking up at me over his laptop screen.

“Yes, there’s a lot more that you haven’t tried yet, at least from my list that I know of. I know you prefer a hot latte first thing in the morning. You don’t like overly sweet drinks. You have recently switched to tea after four pm unless you have had a long day or only had one cup of coffee in the morning. Lavender is your favorite surprise flavor in the summer and you don’t love pumpkin spice very much, but you will order one or two once fall flavors come out. You prefer hazelnut and almond over caramel and vanilla. There are only a few shops you will order dark roast at because the other places burn the beans. And about once every month you will ask the barista to surprise you with something yummy.”

My mouth is open. Fully. Totally unladylike and obnoxious. But I am speechless. What in the actual heck did he just say?
