Ty’s almost 3. Ty’s a grown man.

Sayeda

It was that train ride for me.

I’m STILL exhausted.

Gage

Did ANYBODY make it to lunch?

Dez

Me and Larke did.

Larke

Wren’s hiding out in our suite, so me and Dez didn’t get a chance to rest. The four of us went to lunch.

Adrían

Where’s Mo and Giorgio? Thanasis? Oh, wait, the FOUR of you went to lunch?

Larke

Yeah. Thanasis is in our suite now.

Eesh

And Joel said Mo’s probably in a pretzel.

“Did you see that, Sayeda?” Adrían’s large hand palmed her thigh, his brows high on his forehead. “Larke responded to me. Directly to me.”

Gage

But Thanasis has his own room.

Dez

SOMEBODY TELL HIM THAT.

Sayeda, laughing., tossed her phone on the mattress and stretched her arms above her head, sore in too many good places to name.

“Rock, paper, scissors for the shower?” Adrían asked, leaning across the bed.

Yawning, she leaned toward him. “Sure.”

He formed a fist with his right hand, but she leaped off the bed and raced to the bathroom.

He took chase.

Right before he would have caught her, she shut the bathroom door, locked it, and pressed her back against the wood. “Adrían, your showers take forever. I don’t want you to make me late.”

“Make us late,” he corrected.

“If you’re not ready, I’m leaving without you.”

“You’re walking into that room with me, and we will be holding hands.”
