“I just don’t want to hurt you,” He whispers. “I'm not even all the way in.” I look down to see where we are connected. God damn it, he’s right. He still has over half of himself out of me. I try calming my body and letting out a few breaths.

“I promise I will be fine.” I bring my hand to his cheek, and he leans down, placing a soft kiss on my lips.

“Okay,” He whispers and slowly pushes further inside me until I’m pretty sure he’s all the way in. Hunter lays his head on my shoulder, staying still inside me, unmoving.

“Hunter, I need you to start moving,” I whisper, my hand in his hair, as discomfort starts to take place.

“I know. It's just that you feel so fucking good. Too good.” He kisses my shoulder and then my neck.

Then he starts moving. There is some discomfort at first as my body gets to know him and the way he moves. But pleasure quickly replaces it, and he starts picking up pace.

I dragged my fingers down his back as he left a trail of kisses down my neck, nipping at my skin. A moan leaves me, and I quickly cover my mouth with my hand as he thrusts his cock into me. Hunter brings his free hand to my clit, rubbing it, causing me to arch my back as his other hand twists my nipple, and my eyes roll back at the sensation. I bite my bottom lip to keep the sounds locked away as I’m on the brink of exploding and won’t be able to hold myself together much longer.

“Fuck yes, Emma. I like the way you feel when you come on my cock” He grits through his teeth. Shortly after that, I’m seeing stars again as I do just that.

“I won’t be able to last much longer, baby.” He whispers as his pace picks up.

A few moments later, we were both coming undone together in the best way possible. This is how it must feel to be taken care of, loved, and cherished through an intimate experience makes me realize that I never had that. Except I do now, with Hunter, and I’m not letting that go

As our breathing calms down, Hunter grabs a blanket from the edge of the bed, wrapping it around us, my back to his front. I turn over to see him looking at me with a smile on his face. It’s the one that makes me melt inside, showing his dimples, and I never want them to go away.

“I’m in it for the long haul,” His words from earlier echo in my head, and I wonder how true they really are. Was he caught up in the moment? What if he isn’t and then leaves me? I’ve become stronger in the past few weeks than in the last couple of years, so if he does choose to walk away, I know I’ll be okay. But that doesn’t mean I want him to. I’m more than capable of taking care of myself, but having someone stand by your side and cheer you on is…encouraging.

“What’s on your mind, Love?” He asks, pushing a piece of fallen hair behind my ear.

“I was thinking about why you still keep calling me ‘Love’.” I grunt.

“It gets you all flustered and annoyed. And you’re adorable when you get that way.” He laughs pulling me into him closer. “Now tell me what were you really thinking about.” He brushes his thumb across my bottom lip and I look up at him.

“I was thinking about what you said earlier. That you are in it for the long haul.” My gaze catches onto the blank wall, scared to see whatever may show on his face. “Did you really mean it?” I whisper, pulling the blanket up to my chin.

He grabs my hand from under the blanket and brings it to his lips. I drag my gaze back to his, “Every last word.” I breathe out a sigh of relief. “I know you have your guard up. You knocked some of them down just now, and I’m so lucky that it was with me. But I’m not going anywhere. I will be by your side, cheering you on every day. I want your smiles, tears, laughs, and anger. I want all of you. There is no one else for me but you.”

I’ve never felt wanted by anyone else then I did right now with Hunter. Not having my father much in my life caused a lot of that, and even though we are fixing that day by day, there are still memories that haunt me. Then there’s Chad, who would keep breaking me down until I became shattered pieces of glass. It caused the pain to fester more inside until it destroyed me altogether.

I lean my head back to look at him, “I want the long haul with you, too. I want to be able to smile every day and know that you are beside me. I want to cheer you on while you conquer new things. I want to be in the audience at your concerts, seeing you up on the stage. There is only you for me, too.” I say through a hoarse voice as I hold back the tears.

Hunter smiles at me and kisses me softly until the sound of my stomach growls loudly, and he laughs against my lips.

“Let's get you some food, babe. I think Garrett made some earlier.” He untangles himself from me and reaches for his clothes on the floor.

Hunter hands me mine, and I slip on my clothes. Turning to look in the mirror that's above his dresser, I attempt to pat down my hair, but it’s no use, and I throw it up in a bun instead. When we get to the kitchen \ everyone turns their heads to us, and I stop dead in my tracks.

Oh fuck. The house wasn’t empty, and we definitely weren’t quiet. I look over to Hunter and his lips are pressed into a thin line as he looks away from the guys. Guilty clear as day written on his face.

“FINALLY!” Justin yells from his seat on the island, “You owe me twenty bucks.” He looks to his twin, holding out his hand.

Grumbling some nonsense under his breath, Garrett reaches for his back pocket and pulls out a twenty, slapping it against Justin's forehead.

I give Hunter a questioning look, and he shoots daggers at the guys.

“It took you guys long enough. We weren’t sure when Hunter over here would finally make the first move. So we made a bet on it. Justin said it would be when you guys came home from visiting your family, and Garrett said it would be before that.” Cole manages to get out while stuffing his face with chips and cheese.

Matt nods his head, “It was my idea, but I didn’t want to participate.” He shoves some chips into his mouth, giving a thumbs up.

“Well, actually, he made the first move at our last tutoring session when he kissed me in the library,” I smirk at Hunter and walk over to Cole to steal some chips.

“HA!” Garrett yells. “I will gladly take that twenty back.” He holds out his hand, wiggling his fingers.
