Once Adeline nodded, dropped the wrench then stepped back into my arms, Asher looked at her again, “You good now?”
At her nod, he looked at me and said, “Cover your woman’s ears.”
I did that without hesitation.
And at once…. every brother pulled out their piece out and shot at vital points in the human body.
Fucking whoops.

Four hours later with one less callous bitch in the world, I sat in the media room with Adeline in my lap as everyone settled in with popcorn as Charlie hit play on his keyboard.
We had all the major parts of the clubhouse wired with cameras.
And everyone was glad that we did.
Seeing my woman hand Angelyn her ass, well there was nothing like it in the world.
“Fuck, I got a boner.” Trigger said as he watched my woman throw punch after punch in Angelyn’s face.
“You think I could talk you into divorcing his ass and becoming my ol’ lady?” Priest said as he too adjusted his pants.
But the soft snores that filtered the room had told everyone that Adeline had missed both of those questions.
Laughing softly, I held her even closer as I watched the movie, and damn what a movie it was.

I had just laid Adeline on our bed when Asher poked his head in and said in a low tone, “We got visitors at the gate.”
I lifted my chin, then tagged my pillow and pulled it closer to Adeline’s head
Once I had her covered up and ensuring she was indeed sleeping, I made my way out of my room, down the stairs, and to the front gate.
And when I saw Tomb, the president of Pagan’s Soldiers MC, I growled deep in my throat.
Fucking club politics and all that bullshit meant we couldn’t touch the fuckers, not without declaring an all-and-out war.
Yes, I would have gone to war for Adeline, no fucking problem. And yes, we were a badass club. But if I could name three clubs, I knew we couldn’t stand against and win, it would be Wrath MC, Immoral Saints MC, and Pagan’s Soldiers MC.
But when Kodiak, tossed two heads towards my feet, I didn’t move.
Nor did I move when Koffin tossed their VP’s head at my feet, along with one more, I still didn’t move.
Tomb lifted a brow at me, and asked, “We good?”
Every pair of eyes was on me.
I wanted to know something first, “Where are their bodies?”
“Gettin’ ravaged. Don’t really give a fuck. We don’t mess with ol’ ladies or kids. Everyone else, fucking sure.”
I nodded, “We’re good. But if my woman has nightmares from this, y’all better be ready.”
“Expect nothing less,” Tomb muttered then I watched, along with the rest of my club as all the members of Pagan’s Soldiers MC climbed on their bikes and rode away.
“Sorry you couldn’t get your revenge, brother,” Rome said at my side.
