“More like you often need to learn the hard way,” Fox muttered. “If I didn’t know better, I would’ve guessed you earned your road name because you’re such a royal pain in the ass.”
I laughed at their back-and-forth, drawing attention to me. Pain flashed Grady a mischievous grin before he asked me, “Speaking of road names, have you heard the story about Deviant’s?”
Blushing, I shook my head. “Um…no.” But after some of the things he’d done to me in bed, I could make a good guess.
“It’s nothing like that, gorgeous,” Grady whispered in my ear. “I’ve always been damn good with computers, including getting access to shit I shouldn’t have been looking at online when I was only a kid. Something my mom loves to share way too much, so it stuck with me.”
That story was a lot sweeter than I expected…and it only made me fall harder for Grady.

DEVIANT
Ilooked at my phone for the second time in an hour, then set it back on the bar in the clubhouse lounge. I mentally sighed at how ridiculous I was acting. Alice had gone to lunch with some of the old ladies, and we had prospects trailing them. They reported back to us every hour, but I couldn’t stop checking my cell for some reason.
Maybe it would get better when she wore my property patch and ring. And a baby bump.
I wasn’t sure if she’d realized that we hadn’t once used protection, but I’d bring it up eventually. Hopefully, she was already knocked up.
“Deviant!”
I put down the beer I’d been nursing just as Viper stalked into the room, slamming the front door behind him. His expression was a mixture of worry and murderous rage.
My eyebrows shot up, and I came out from behind the bar.
“What’s up?” I had a pretty good idea that it involved the chick he was seeing. Only a woman could put that expression on a man’s face.
“Rhiannon is missing.”
“Fuck,” I muttered.
He’d already pivoted and was marching toward the hallway that led to the offices, and I quickly followed. When we reached Fox’s door, it was open, so he stepped inside.
Fox looked up at Viper and frowned. “What’s wrong?”
“Rhiannon. She was supposed to meet me at a jobsite this morning, and she didn’t show. She’s not answering her phone. GPS has been turned off.”
“Son of a bitch,” Fox muttered.
Maverick had walked in at the beginning of Viper’s explanation and immediately put his phone to his ear. I knew he was calling the guards we had on our women and ordering them to bring the girls here. I was grateful he’d thought about it so I could focus on the problem at hand.
“On it,” I told everyone before stalking out of the room and booking it straight for my office.
The first thing I did was get into Rhiannon’s phone and turn the GPS back on. It was about an hour away from town and wasn’t moving.
When I checked the location coordinates, I discovered it was a convenience store.
I put my phone on speaker and called Fox.
“Anything?” he asked.
“Got a location, but I’ll be honest, I don’t think she’s there. I think someone took her and dumped her phone.”
Viper swore a blue streak in the background, and a loud thump told me he’d probably punched a wall.
“For fuck’s sake, man. The last thing your woman needs is for you to break your fucking hand,” Maverick grunted.
“We’ll send a couple of guys to check it out. Just in case,” Fox informed us.
