Then I turn and look up at the man I love.

“You’re going to have to take care of me, Colver. You’re going to have to spoil me.”

“That’s all I ever wanted, kitten.”

My knees literally start to tremble.

He touches me. He holds me.

Holy hell, Colver Caspian loves me and I’m going to have his baby and we’re going to be together forever!

EPILOGUE

MONTHS LATER

Colver

Before anyone asks, I’m not saying a word whether Abrielle is having a boy or a girl.

If anyone comes over to the house and sees the nursery, they know right away.

Little pink hockey sticks all over the walls…

Ah, fuck, I just gave it away.

It doesn’t matter though.

My eyes are open and I have nothing to worry about in life other than taking care of Abrielle.

She’s still sleeping, her back toward me.

It’s been a month since we bought the house together.

The two of us. Together.

This is our house. Maybe not a forever type house, but this is where we’re going to raise our little girl. Even if it’s only for a little while. This place is home.

Those wondering about the outside noise…

I reached out to my father and told him I was having a kid.

His response - Good luck with that.

That’s it. That’s all I needed to hear.

As far as Abrielle goes, her mother jumped right to the money.

Thrilled that Abrielle had gotten knocked up (her words) by someone with money and not someone struggling. Then she told Abrielle to send some pictures when the baby came.

Instead of getting mad about it, Abrielle and I decided to channel that energy and make sure we’re damn good parents to our baby girl.

Funny enough, Abrielle used the word ‘kids’ and then stopped herself to gauge my reaction…

If you could see Abrielle right now, beautifully pregnant, I’d have fifty kids with her. She glows. Her cheeks are round and cute. She thinks she looks like a squirrel.

She hates her legs, ankles and feet.

I rub her feet two times a day at least.
