“You’re forgetting about the picture, not that I’ve seen it yet, but yeah, once we do the interview…”

Caitlin cleared her throat. “So you’re going to meet with Casey West?”

Lee glanced at his men, who nodded. “Looks like.”

Fitz drummed his fingers on the table, wearing a sly grin. “And it looks like Pride Night is a go.”

CHAPTER 42

DREW

After hashing out a statement for the press asking for their respect for their privacy for the moment with the caveat that they’d have more in the coming weeks, they headed for their cars.

“So what’s the plan for the rest of the night?” Drew asked as they rode the elevator down. They each stood in a separate corner, which gave him the chance to look his men over, and he didn’t like what he saw. Both Mac and Lee leaned heavily against the metal walls with slumped shoulders and eyes barely half-open. He’d been lucky and managed a fifteen-minute nap during his lunch break, which it seemed his men had also desperately needed and didn’t get. The meeting had further wiped them out.

Mac sighed. “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m exhausted. That meeting just sucked the life out of me.”

“Same,” Lee mumbled.

Drew felt they’d best be served by ordering in dinner and calling it an early night. “How about you two head back to Lee’s place? I’ll pick us up some dinner and meet you there. We’ll eat and go to bed… to sleep.” He quickly added the last part when both men’s heads snapped up. “Lee, are you awake enough to drive?”

“Fuck you, I’m fine.” Lee straightened and swaggered out the doors when they opened. He grabbed Drew around the waist and planted one on him, hard and demanding, fiery enough that Drew’s dick took notice.

“Hey now,” Drew said, pushing Lee back a little. “Don’t get me all hot and bothered if you ain’t putting out tonight.”

“I could be persuaded given the right motivation.” Lee winked before taking Drew’s hand and pulling him along the hall. Their kiss had perked him up. They waved at Tom as they passed.

Mac moved ahead of them, then turned and walked backward. “I can motivate you. No problem.” His gaze shone with blatant desire.

Drew stuck out his tongue at him. “For once, do what I say. Go back to Lee’s, relax, maybe close your eyes for a few, and I’ll grab dinner and meet you there in thirty. After we eat, we’ll see if we’re still awake enough to talk about your motivation.”

“I like this plan,” Lee said, raising Drew’s hand to his lips and kissing the back of it. “Especially the closing my eyes part. I’ve been running on fumes ever since I finished practice. Why did those chairs have to be so comfy?”

Drew silently agreed. If the subject hadn’t been about them, he might have closed his eyes again and taken a second nap. He reiterated his point. “Go home and sleep. I’ll be there soon with food and more kisses.”

“Okay.” Lee puckered his lips and got the kiss he was begging from Drew, who then stole one from Mac. And with another quick wave, Drew headed in the opposite direction of them.

Grabbing dinner from Handwing Brewery took longer than Drew expected. He hoped Mac and Lee caught a few winks because he had more than enough energy for all of them and had definite thoughts on how to burn it.

He tiptoed inside, just in case, and grinned, seeing his men crashed on the couch together. However, he didn’t want them to rest too long and mess up their sleep cycles. He turned the oven on low, put the metal trays inside, and then went to wake them.

Drew knelt by their heads. Using the back of his fingers, he stroked the smooth cheek of his best friend. He laid tiny kisses on Mac’s forehead, eyelids, and nose before coaxing his lips apart with his tongue.

Mac moaned quietly into the kiss, squirming a little as he got an arm free to latch onto Drew’s nape and hold him there. Drew echoed the moan, feeling another hand, a larger hand, join Mac’s.

“Damn. I could watch you two all day, but I want one of those, too.”

Drew knelt higher, and with both of them leaning over Mac, he gave Lee his own “time to wake up” kiss. He was only a little surprised to feel fingers creeping under his shirt, over his belly, and then up higher to sweep across his chest. “Someone’s being naughty,” Drew whispered into Lee’s mouth.

“Good naughty or bad naughty?”

Drew chuckled. “Is there such a thing as good naughty?”

“Uh-huh,” Lee mumbled, nodding even as he continued dotting kisses along Drew’s jaw. “If it leads to orgasms, then it's firmly in the good column.”

Drew thought about that as Mac pushed his shirt up and started nibbling on his belly. “I think this is the good kind then.”

“I agree,” Lee replied as he threw a leg over Mac, moving off the couch. He stripped off his shirt and shorts and knelt behind Drew. He pulled Drew’s shirt over his head, giving Mac easier access.
