“Kissing it better anyway.”

“You’re a devi—ANT,” she screams as I gently suck her.

“You’ve seen nothing yet. Good luck walking in the morning.”

Iwake up in a way I’ve never experienced before, wrapped around another body like a koala.

At first, I panic.

But then, memories of the night before come flooding back, and if anything, I hold her tighter.

She’s going to back away today. She’s going to tell me that last night was a mistake and a one-off that’s never going to happen again.

That’s fine.

But it’s not going to stop it from happening again. And again. And again.

She can argue all she likes. But last night was fucking epic.

We’d be doing a disservice to the universe—to sex—if we didn’t do it again.

Silently, I laugh at myself.

I’m pretty sure I’m just delusional after the number of times I came last night.

I’ve blown through the stash of condoms I brought in the hope of getting some action. We only stopped because I ran out. And when I say stopped…we didn’t actually stop. We just used other means of enjoying ourselves.

There have been some wild nights in my past, but nothing stands up to last night.

Everything about it was perfect.

Lorelei suddenly tenses in my arms, letting me know that she’s awake and already freaking out.

“Morning, Temptress.” It’s a whisper, barely audible, yet Lorelei reacts as if I just bellowed in her ear.

She moves faster than I thought possible and launches out of bed, taking the sheet with her.

Wrapping herself up, she glares down at me.

“What the hell was that, Kian?”

I can’t help it. My lips pull into a smirk.

“What? The cuddling?”

It seems to hit her all of a sudden that I’m lying here completely naked, and her eyes drop. Her expression instantly changes when she catches sight of my morning wood that was previously very happy nestled against her firm ass.

Momentarily, frustration in her eyes gives way to desire, but she’s fast to lock it down so that by the time she looks me in the eyes again, there is nothing but exasperation.

“Yes, the cuddling. That…” she says, throwing her arm out toward where I’m lying on the bed. “This…” she says, pointing between the two of us. “Never should have happened.”

“Oh,” I say, finally sitting up. “I firmly disagree.”

She looks up to the ceiling as if praying for strength. “Of course you do,” she mutters.

“Lorelei, last night?—”

“Was a mistake that’s never happening again.”
