My finger traveled back to his hole, which was sloppy and wet, and eased it inside him. He definitely liked me fingering him. His dick suddenly swelled and grew hotter before his body froze and shot his load into my mouth. I quickly swallowed his sweet and bitter flavor down and pulled my finger out.
“God, why do I like your finger inside me so much?” he panted.
“Because it feels good… and it’s naughty.”
I hovered over him and kissed him, letting him taste himself on my tongue. “One day, you’re going to let me in there with my dick.”
“Definitely.”
I fucking loved how he was all in being with another man after only ever knowing what it was like to be with a woman. It helped keep my insecurities silent, making me love him all that much more.
Nick sat up and rolled me onto my back. “Your turn.”
Chapter 32
Nick
Day 18
Logan and I hiked for several miles when we pushed through the alpine tree line and stepped into a magical realm of crystal-clear water and rocks of assorted variants and colors from glaciers eons past. In the distance, you could see the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, which still had snow on its peaks.
It was still early enough in the morning that a haze hovered over the cold water, and somewhere close by, you could hear the echo of an eagle. Bald Eagles were known to fly around here, but they were seriously endangered. You could also hear the echoed tapping of woodpeckers, along with the quiet lapping of water from the secluded lake.
“Fucking hell. Wow! This place is epic,” I said. “I think this is the prettiest place we’ve been to so far.”
Logan nodded, smiled, and grabbed my hand, since there was no one to be seen. “It’s why I wanted to spend the most time here. All my camping magazines and brochures sold me. I’d read that not a lot of people come to Fallen Leaf Lake, so it should be pretty private here.” He leaned forward and took my lips in his, giving me a much-too-short kiss. “We can swim and kiss without worrying about anyone else.”
“Skinny dipping?”
“No skinny dipping.”
I only said that to see his eyes roll up in his head.
We did have to strip down to put on our swim trunks because hiking in them while wet wasn’t fun.
Once dressed, I lifted my camera from my backpack and took several shots of the scenery and even more of Logan. He smiled at the camera more often, looking so comfortable in his own skin now.
In two and a half weeks, Logan went from angry and intense to relaxed and easygoing. Maybe easygoing was a bit of a stretch, but he was definitely calmer.
Logan took my breath away as much as the stunning surrounding landscape with his beautiful smiles.
After he took a few pictures of me, I put my camera down, and we walked toward the water’s edge. I toed it and shivered. “Fuck that’s cold.”
“Mountain water always is.”
“It’s crazy how clear it is. Those rocks… so many colors.”
We grabbed each other’s hands and slowly waded into the water, careful not to slip on the rocks. By the time the water reached our nuts, our bodies were tense.
“Maybe we should’ve just dunked in and got it over with,” I said.
“Too late. I’m not brave enough now.”
After several minutes of getting used to the cold, the water was up to our necks as we floated around. But I couldn’t take my eyes off Logan. He hadn’t stopped smiling since we got here.
The growing beard, his hair getting longer and more wavy, the sparkles of water decorating his tanned skin, and those stunning hazel eyes under thick brows and lashes just did something to me. That, along with his newly found confidence, just shone through from his soul. That was how Logan should always be.
And that was the moment I finally took the last step off the ledge and just fell willingly. Hell, I’d already been falling, but now I was a shattered mess, and I didn’t want to be put back together again.
