Page 11 of Loving the Coach

Climbing out of bed, I go to the shower, I’m hard as a rock, as I am every time I think about Katie. Once the water starts beating down on my back, I take my cock into my hand and start fisting it, imagining Katie’s warm, hot mouth is around it. I picture her on her knees, taking my cock, moaning, as she fingers her pussy. It doesn’t take long before I spurt cum all over myself. Fuck. I need my girl.

I finish in the shower and wrap a towel around my waist. My nerves are starting to kick in, it’s a mix between nerves and excitement. Today is the first day of the season and Hurtsboro Hummingbirds are taking on New York, we’re going to kick ass, there’s no doubt about it. All eyes are going to be on the running backs, which means all scrutiny will be on me. I have faith that my guys are going to smash it.

Once I’m dressed I go to the kitchen where I see Caleb having breakfast. “Man, I should thank you.” He tells me as he passes me a cup of coffee.

I raise an eyebrow as I take a seat at the island. “Oh, and why’s that?” I reach for a slice of toast and take a bite, washing it down with a sip of coffee.

“You got me to message Mindy, I had no plans to, but thank fuck I did. We’re meeting again tonight.” He’s got his shit-eating-grin on his face, the one he uses when he’s going to get lucky.

I stop and stare when I realize something… “Dude, you’ve been talking to her for three weeks and you’re just meeting up with her tonight?”

He narrows his eyes at me, “you’re one to talk, asshole. How is Katie?”

I can’t help the smile that forms whenever someone talks about her. “Good.” I take another sip of coffee and reach for yet another slice of toast.

He shakes his head, “You’ve got it bad.”

I change the subject, before he says something else. “Are you coming to the game tonight?”

He looks at me in disgust. “What sort of question is that?” He smirks at me, “Of course I’m coming. Those cheerleaders are hot and it’s my duty as a red-blooded male to ogle them while they cheer.”

I roll my eyes, he’s a child. “Whatever, I’ve got to go. I’ll talk to you later?” I finish the cup of coffee and leave it on the side, I’ll clean up when I get home.

“Yeah, I’ll see you after the game.” He says as he reaches for his cell phone, no doubt sending a message to Mindy.

Once I’m in the car, I decide to message Katie. I need to see her, it’s been three weeks and each day is getting harder not being able to hold her.

Garret: Can we meet this evening?

I put the car in drive and head to work, I don’t hear my cell buzz, which means she’s not replied. Fuck. Have I pushed her too far? It doesn’t take me long to arrive at work, I pull into the parking lot and check my phone. No new messages. Great.

“Michaels…” I bristle at Phil’s voice. Why the fuck does this asshole always manage to corner me? I finish climbing out of my car and face him, he’s sporting his signature smile. Well someone’s in a good mood.

“Philip,” I reply trying not to sound annoyed.

“Michaels, today’s the day.” I roll my eyes, of course it is. It’s what we’ve been working toward for a long time. The first day of the new season. “Are you ready for it?”

Now it’s my turn to smile, I give him my shark smile. The one that Caleb tells me scares the shit out of him. “Of course I am. The team is ready, we’re going to fucking crush it this season.”

He nods, looking impressed. “Good, the team meeting starts in fifteen minutes. Don’t be late.” He turns on his heel and stalks off. I grit my teeth and follow him. Everyone here at Hurtsboro Hummingbirds are great, except him. Him I could do without, but then again, every job has an asshole and he’s the only one I have to deal with.

* * *

“Let’s get out there and show them who Hurtsboro Hummingbirds really are.” Ace Martins growls, putting his helmet on. He’s one of the running backs, the best running back.

“Take no prisoners. This is our season boys. Let’s do this.” Will Anderson, the quarterback smiles and the rest of the team nod in agreement.

The excitement is palpable and addictive. Not just here in the dressing room but in the stadium too. Everyone knows that Hurtsboro Hummingbirds is the shit and tonight, we’re going to prove it.

Walking through the tunnels of the stadium, we make our way onto the pitch, the roar of the crowd is something to behold. Goosebumps break out over my body and I make my way toward the technical area. I do a quick scan of the stadium, there’s got to be a full house, from what I can see there’s not an empty seat. The cheerleaders are pumped more than ever, there’s an extra pep in their steps.

The players are talking about the cheerleader again and I try and block it out. Most of the guys are married with kids, then there’s the new guys, the ones just drafted. They’re enjoying their new found fame and want as many women as they can get and the newest cheerleader is on their list.

Long brown curls catch my attention and my breath leaves me in a woosh. The cheerleader the guys have been talking about is Katie. Oh holy fuck. She’s so damn sexy wearing her cheer uniform. I’m wondering if she’ll wear it only for me?

As the cheerleaders run off the field, I can’t help but watch Katie’s every move. When she catches sight of me in the technical area, her eyes widen and her mouth opens in shock. I do the only thing I can think of. I wink at her and I’m rewarded with her bright gorgeous smile.
