"I don’t know, I don’t like to sound cocky."

I snort a laugh, "Oh, really."

I let go with my outside hand and swing over, grabbing the bar between his hands, bring my other over as I face him, wrapping my legs around his waist, "How many can you do with me added?"

His head tilts, holding that cocky grin, as my lips twist, teasing him as I stare into his eyes.

He starts to pull us up, and I follow his rhythm before he whispers, "You can’t be doing this shit in front of your brother, Angel."

I huff my smile, "Why? Not my fault you can’t contain your snake."

I rock my hips against him as he pulls us up again.

"Because I will fuck you in front of him Macie, don’t play with me." He says his words through his gritted teeth, and I smile, "Hungry?"

"Famished."

"Good, I’m making dinner." I let go of his waist with my legs before I push off and let go off the bar with my hands, landing on my feet.

I hear him growl behind me as I continue to make my way out of the gym, laughing; I never said I was done being a brat.

I haven’t really talked to my brother yet about the situation that happened, and I am sure he will soon come and collect me to have our talk.

As much as I am happy and excited he is here; Boy let me tell you, I am angrier with him than anyone else. He’s my brother. He fucking set me up!

I take a quick shower, get myself dressed and make my way back downstairs to the kitchen to start making dinner for the four of us. Asking myself why I am being so damn nice after what they did.

I should be a bitch and put laxatives in their food. Ha! That would be funny! I’m just kidding, I wouldn’t but I would if they really pissed me off.

Harmless prank, well besides their asshole on fire; I’m terrible.

"What are you giggling about?" Sully asks and I turn, seeing the three of them standing there with questioning looks.

I bite my smile and shake my head, "Nothing; Dinner will be ready in an hour."

I look at Sully then my brother, saving my last look for Jax, allowing my bottom lip to drag between my teeth, dropping my gaze to his lips, before I turn.

"Keep playing Angel." He growls before I hear his heavy footsteps leave the kitchen, snorting a quiet laugh; God, I’m awful.

Sully and Dakota leave the kitchen without a word as I continue to get my ingredients together. Turning on my music, hating that silence, my body moves with the rhythm of the music, getting into a groove with cooking and dancing. Washing dishes as I go, keeping things tidy, I hate a dirty kitchen while I cook, plus, why wait for it to pile up.

Standing over the stove, I feel large hands slide over my hips, looking down as Jax’s hands slide across my stomach, pulling me back against him.

He towers over me from behind as he whispers against my ear, "How long is this bratty teasing game of yours going to go on?"

I shrug my shoulder with my smile, "I don’t know."

I press my ass back against him before lifting my hips and his hand slides down between my legs gripping my nub, pressing me harder against him, holding me there.

"You’ve had your warning, Macie." His lips dip to my neck before he bites down, dragging my skin between his teeth, causing a shiver to rock my body.

"Can we get through the first night before I catch you two fucking in the kitchen." My brother barks out and I snort a laugh.

"You’re fucking lucky Angel." Jax whispers in a growl against my ear before he presses a kiss where he just bit and pulls himself away.

I giggle to myself, not even facing my brother as I continue to make our dinner; I’ve gotten under Jax's skin, goal accomplished.

I finish our dinner, and we all enjoy it over good laughs and conversation, getting over the tension between us all, well, not Jax and I’s tension. And because fair is fair, I promote them to clean it all up.
