“That’s my fucking girl,” I grunt through my own release. I spill every drop into her as her walls clench around me. She pulls me into a kiss that completely stops time around us, and I don’t think life will ever get better than it is right now with her.
“Fucking you, Dove. Feels like coming home.” She giggles and presses her forehead against mine, running her fingers through my hair the way I love.
“You feel like home to me too, Sawyer.”
“I love you so much.”
“I love you, too.”
CHAPTER 46
LEAH
Moose
Hey beautiful, how do you feel about a second first date?
Me
With you? I feel good about it.
Moose
I’m not going to ask about the clarification about it being with me, but I’ll come pick you up at 6.
Me
What should I wear?
Moose
A dress.
Me
That’s equally very specific and very vague.
Moose
I love you in dresses. But I’m not picky, so wear what you feel good in. See you tonight.
Me
See you tonight.
I love you in dresses.
Well, watch me never wear anything else again.
I rub my hands over the dress I’m wearing, which is undoubtedly one of the sexiest pieces of clothing I own—which is probably the reason I’ve never worn it before.
I purchased it a couple of years ago and I immediately threw it in the back of my closet after trying it on because it was pushing the limits of my comfort zone.
I’ve never liked having attention drawn to me, preferring instead to fade into my surroundings rather than be the one people noticed. It’s different with Sawyer though, I feel a new sense of confidence when I’m with him. I want to draw his attention and know he can’t take his eyes off me.
So instead of slumping my shoulders and folding my arms to try and hide from my appearance, my shoulders are back, my head held high, and I feel hot as fuck.
I hear a knock at the door and my heart skips a beat. I glance at the clock on my dresser and notice it’s six o’clock on the dot. I grab my black strappy heels and slide them on before rushing to answer the door.
