I spread her legs and slip the plug in, filling the void left by my cock. “You’ll sleep with that in so that my cum stays in your ass, okay?”

Her gaze is sleepy and satiated as she nods. “Yes, sir.”

I’m about to slip out of the bed to clean up, but she grabs my hand to stop me. Her blue eyes begging me. “Stay a moment.”

My stomach flips and I know I can’t refuse. Climbing onto the bed, I pull her into my lap and hold her close. She buries her face in my chest. I tighten my grip on her, knowing that we’re both falling way too deep into this. She wants me to let her go, but how can I when she’s all I want?

I’ll fight for her, and I’ll love her until the end of time.

Getting under the sheets with her cradled against me, I drift asleep, dreaming of a future where she’s mine, forever, our love unbreakable, our bond indestructible. And for now, that’s enough. Even though deep down, I know I have to let her go.

We’ve only been back one day from our vacation, but I feel suffocated in here. Gaston sits beside me on the sofa in his plush penthouse apartment. The brief taste of independence has left me longing for more.

Our vacation only made my feelings more confusing. Gaston has this way with words. He’s a charmer, that’s for sure. Our connection has deepened and I find myself craving his touch, his affection.

Just as I’m about to break the silence, the shrill ring of the house phone shatters it. Gaston’s brow furrows slightly but he rises to answer it.

I watch him intently, trying to discern any clues from his expression or body language. Is it business-related? A call from one of his associates? Or perhaps something more personal? My mind races with the possibilities because since I’ve been here that phone hasn’t rang once.

Gaston’s features shift, hardening into an unreadable mask. I hold my breath, waiting for him to return and share whatever news he’s received.

Finally, Gaston turns and makes his way back to the sofa.

“Who was that?” I ask.

Gaston’s jaw clenches. “A guest in the lobby. He’ll be up in a moment.” There’s an odd tension surrounding him.

“Oh, a friend of yours?”

He shakes his head. “Not exactly.”

My brow furrows as his once easy demeanor is completely shifted. I bounce my foot up and down, eager to meet this ‘guest’ he speaks of.

When the elevator dings and the doors slide open, my heart leaps into my throat. There stands Taren and Alice. “Alice! What are you doing here?”

Gaston glares at me. “Quiet, beautiful.”

My jaw clenches, and I fall silent.

“They’re here to save you, aren’t you?” Gaston asks, looking between Taren and Alice.

Save me. Of course, the pact we made.

Taren walks toward us with Alice by his side. “Is there anything I can give you to consider parting with your purchase?”

A weird twisting sensation ignites in my gut. Do I even want to be saved anymore?

Gaston rubs his jaw. “What do you think, beautiful?” he asks, looking at me. “Do you want to leave?”

Indecisions slams into me the moment I gaze into those gray eyes I’ve come to adore. And yet, I know I must leave and take this opportunity if he’ll allow it, because it was true what I told him on the yacht. I can’t love him, not unless I’m free.

I lean toward him. “If I say yes, are you going to tell me I can’t go, anyway?” I murmur. “Because if this is a genuine question, then yes, I want to go.”

Gaston’s eyes flood with an anguish that takes my breath away. He straightens, still holding my gaze. “You can go, beautiful.” Gaston’s eyes remain fixed on me as if begging me to change my mind.
