It wasn’t long until his pending orgasm ripped through him, and he was tensing his muscles, pacing himself until a mass of explosions whipped through him. “Fuck…”
A sense of calm took him. He’d never been so satisfied.
He gathered she hadn’t either by the way she lay there, holding him in her steady arms, and by the way she pressed little kisses against his shoulder.
Bending, he kissed her with appreciation. It was passionate. It was the most intense kiss he’d ever shared with someone.
During the kiss, he knew he wanted to get used to it. He wanted to memorize how she moved against him. How she tasted. How she danced in rhythm with him. And more than that, he didn’t want to mess up with her.
They parted, and she said, “I think I’ve been gone too long.”
As much as he hated to let her go, he knew she was right. “I need you for hours.”
“Hours?” She grinned with the prospect.
“A whole weekend, actually.” He dipped his head and kissed her again. He rubbed the length of her thigh. “I want you to stay with me tonight.”
“What about work on Monday?”
“We’ll drive in together.” As soon as he said it, he knew he was being too careless. He didn’t want his employees to get the wrong idea if they saw them driving in together. What would that do for Scottie’s reputation? No, he couldn’t risk it. Not while she was still his temp. “Or you can drive from my house if you want. But you’re staying over.”
She was pensive, looking past him. “Okay. I want to.”
“Good.” For the first time, he believed he could actually do the relationship thing. And though it scared the shit out of him, he didn’t want to run away.
