My tyrant rolls his eyes, before he grins like a lunatic. Then he slowly stands to his full height and takes me in his arms. “Deal, darling.”
“Deal, tyrant.” I breathe out lovingly just before he grabs my neck gently and pulls my lips to his, kissing me savagely for everyone to see.
For everyone to witness what I mean to him and what he means to me.
Everything.
The world.
Breaking the kiss, Sebastian pulls back and stares intensely at me. “That a yes?”
I nod. “Yes.”
Sebastian exhales loudly like he’s been holding his breath this whole time. And when a tear falls from my eye, he swipes it away with his thumb before his mouth captures mine once more.
I kiss him with everything that I am and all that I have. I kiss him while tears fall from my eyes and laughter fills my heart. All the while, a kaleidoscope of butterflies invades my stomach.
Who would have thought that after so much hurt, heartbreak, and hate, I would be standing here in front of the people of the United States of America with a ring on my finger and a baby inside of me?
Who would have imagined that the man I swore war to would not only be the father of my children but my forever as well?
The owner of my heart.
My ally.
My enemy.
My tyrant.
Every-single-thing.
Sebastian is everywhere.
Like the tyrant he truly is, he took over every aspect of my life and I don’t even mind. Not one bit.
Because now I know…
This is where I was always meant to end up.
We were written in the stars. It just took us a while to get it right.
But here we are.
We are happy in love.
And we are one.
One and the same.
He and I.
