The same words he whispered to me so long ago, he now says it to the product of our love.

We’ve come full circle, he and I.

And what a ride it has been.

“Oh, no!” A disappointed gasp sounds from our hospital room’s door making both of us look up to find a very confused Ellaiza clutching Benjamin’s neck while holding pink balloons.

Here we go.

Sebastian grins at me, and I do the same.

Benjamin walks towards us with a knowing look on his face and Ellaiza hanging onto him. “Told you so, kid.” Benjamin sees the baby before Ella is able to. “Damn. That’s one big boy.” He says loudly while cringing.

Rolling my eyes at him. “He’s perfect.”

“That he is, my girl. That he is.” My friend smiles warmly at me.

My friend.

My partner in crime.

I will definitely name my next one after him.

“It was supposed to be a girl.” Ellaiza interrupts, narrowing her eyes at her little brother.

Smiling at my girl, I tell her. “Baby girl, I would like you to meet your baby brother, Royal.”

She gives Royal a once over and then crosses her arms over her chest and gives every single one of us a mean mug before tapping her chin twice, deep in thought. “I think Cupcake’s skirts will fit him.”

“You’re not putting girl’s clothes on him, Ellaiza.” Sebastian tries his best to not laugh.

Ella grins at her father and then at me before looking down at her little brother with so much love that is hard to miss.

That’s my girl.

So full of love.

Thirty minutes later, we have both our babies sleeping soundly between us while Benjamin is laid back on the chair next to the window, watching a sports game on the TV.

This is my family.

This is love.

Sebastian kisses my temple softly, and I can feel the love in that one gesture down to my soul. “I love you so goddamn much,” he whispers, trying not to wake up the kids.

“I love you, Sebastian Kenton,” I say quietly, brushing a kiss over his bearded jaw. He turns into me, capturing my lips with his own, as he asks, “Whose heart is this, darling?” I feel his hand on my chest where my heart beats for him.

For all of them.

Looking at those hypnotizing eyes of his that makes me feel loved beyond words, I reply. “Yours.”
