“A list?” Lili turns to me.

“Of these guys. The ones you’ve had plenty of sex with,” I clarify.

“No, and what makes you think they’re all guys?” She raises a questioning brow at me.

“Babe, I couldn’t care less about their gender. I just want them gone,” I tell her.

Lili rolls her eyes at me. “Fine, I’ll give you my list… as soon as you give me yours.” She smirks.

“As entertaining as this isn’t, the fucking door stays open,” Alessandro grunts. “Unless you’d like a bullet between your boyfriend’s eyes.”

“I’m telling Mom,” Lili says.

“Tell her. I’ll tell Pops why I had to follow your ass to fucking Nashville,” he counters.

I’m an only child, so this whole sibling rivalry thing is something I’ve never understood. I can’t help but smile as I watch them try to one-up each other, though.

“Anyone hungry? I’m going to order takeout,” I say while pulling my phone from my pocket.

Alessandro and Lili both look at me with odd expressions on their faces.

“What?”

“Nothing,” they say at the same time.

Chapter Thirteen

Ithought I would never get out of that apartment. When my cousin Lorenzo finally turned up, I took my opportunity to leave. Told my brother and cousin I’d see them in the morning. Neither of them appreciated my decision. They both tried to force me to stay, to the point they threatened Travis with bodily harm.

Which left me to wonder if he has some kind of death wish or if nothing really fazes him. He’s the only guy who’s been willing to stick around after meeting my family. We did get out, though. I might have had to use calling our Nonna as leverage—we all knew she would have put Alessandro and Lorenzo in their place. Either way, the result was the same. They relented and let us leave.

Next time I want to go out of town to watch Travis play, I’m taking one of my female cousins with me. That’s if there even is a next time after all the craziness that’s happened tonight.

The moment the door to his hotel suite closes behind me, all thoughts of my family disappear. Because this is what I’ve been waiting for all night. Getting him alone and naked and having him deliver on that pleasure he’s so good at.

I practically jump him. My legs wrap around his waist and my arms lock over his neck. Travis’s hands cup my ass, taking on my full weight like it’s nothing before he presses me up against the closest wall.

“I need you,” I say into his mouth between hurried, hungry kisses.

“Not half as much as I need you.” Travis grinds his cock against my pussy, proving just how much he means it. Then he spins around and starts walking us through the suite.

I don’t notice I’m falling until my back hits the top of the bed and Travis’s body follows me. His hand moves up underneath my jersey, his jersey, cupping my breast over the lace of my bra.

“Fuck, I need to see you.” Travis pushes himself up and pulls the jersey over my head; then he reaches behind my back and unclasps my bra. The material flutters to the floor as his fingers flick the button on my jeans, and he removes each shoe one by one before sliding my jeans and panties down my thighs. “Next time you come to a game, wear a skirt,” he says.

My brows furrow as I peer up at him. “Why?”

“Because I want easier access to this,” he says while running his fingers through my wet folds.

“Oh, shit,” I hiss out as my hips lift off the bed. I’m completely naked now, and he’s… not. Which is something I need to rectify. Immediately.

I move up on my knees and lift the hem of his shirt. Travis tugs it the rest of the way over his head while my eyes take in all of him. Every hard inch of muscle. My fingers trace over a big ugly bruise on his ribs.

“Does this hurt?” I ask as I lean forward to press a gentle kiss to the discolored skin.

“No.” Travis tells me. “But my cock does. Wanna kiss that better too?” He smirks at me.

I slide off the bed. His eyes follow my every movement as I drop to my knees. He pivots his body so that his legs hang off the edge of the mattress. And I have to admit that the look he’s giving me right now is that much more of a turn-on.
