“If all three of us are together in one spot, you know our baby sister won’t be far behind,” he replied. Millie was like a shadow when we were little kids. A really persistent, annoying shadow. “Millie and our girl have a bond that’s never going to be broken, and if Jamie starts to freak?” We all shared a moment then. “No one’s better than our sister for talking Jamie off a ledge.”

His focus shifted to me right then.

“And anyway, Mum and Dad always taught us to share, didn’t they?”

“What does that mean?”

My eyes narrowed as I caught the two glancing at each other, that twin bullshit coming into play, but Hunter just shrugged.

“Hayden and me, we’ve worked out a way to share real well.”

“What…?”

Why the hell did I ask them that when their smug smiles told me everything? I could see it clearly then. My girl, naked and shining in the moonlight as they moved around her, converging— Suddenly, I was standing in front of Hunter, my hands wrapped around the collar of his t-shirt before I tugged him closer.

“What did you do to Jamie?”

“Everything she wanted.” His cocky reply was ruined by the fact that the neckline of his shirt was cutting into his throat, but he didn’t back down for a second.

“We did everything she wanted.” My eyes jerked sideways to see Hayden standing there, fists balled. “And that’s what we’ll continue to do going forward.”

“Is this some sort of kink for you two?” I snapped. They were my brothers and I loved them, but right now I was ready to bite both of their fucking heads off. “You thought it’d be hot to have a threesome with Jamie?”

“It was us acknowledging a reality.” Hunter took me by surprise, putting his hands on my chest and shoving me away. I rallied fast, ready to leave him in the gutter with his teeth lying on the concrete beside him, but his words stopped me in my tracks. “Each one of us wants to make her his…”

That hug today. I could feel Jamie in my arms as I held her close, her heart beating so hard and fast it drowned out the sound of traffic, and with it came a feeling of complete rightness. That this was where she was supposed to be, right there with me. But as I stared at the twins, I saw similarly serious expressions. No smirk from Hunter, no sarcastic remark from Hayden, just the two of them waiting for me to see it.

That they’d experienced something just like what I had, but together.

“So we can fight this out,” Hayden said, stepping closer, “see who Jamie chooses.”

“Or we can find a way for everyone to get what they need.”

Hunter’s words rang in my ears with a faint whine, but right as I was about to say something, Millie came stumbling down the stairs.

“Oi, you lot coming or what?” We all moved towards the entrance on automatic. “Welcome to Thunderdome, bitch.” She grinned as she threw her arms wide. “Three men enter, one man becomes Jamie’s date. Only time will tell which one it will be.”

I stared at my brothers, frowning so hard my face ached, but I didn’t reply. Instead, I climbed the stairs, entering the expansive studio to find a woman with steel-grey, cropped hair having a drink with my girl. I couldn’t process what the twins had said, what Millie was twittering on about right now. My brain felt like it was churning so fast I could almost smell the stink of gears grinding, but all of that stopped when Jamie looked up at me when I drew close.

“Ready to get suited up?” she asked with a grin. “I asked Mac if she had any plaid flannelette fabric, but she said no.”

“It’s an intriguing idea, though. Kinda giving me edgy couture vibes.” The tailor thrust her hand out. “I’m Mac.”

“Brock.”

“And here’s Tweedledee and Tweedlebum,” Mac said, turning around to take in the twins. “You’re damn lucky the two of you are pretty close to sample size, wanting a suit this close to the party.” She looked me up and down. “I’m going to have my work cut out for me with lumbersnack here.”

“Lumbersnack…” Millie cackled, setting out food and drinks on a large table that dominated the room.

“And as for you.” Mac gripped the tailor’s measuring tape hanging around her neck and inspected Jamie closely. “Nice tits, small waist, and you’ve got good, solid hips, which will make these boys happy and my job difficult.” She glanced at Hunter. “Suits were traditionally designed for men. I can make your girl look amazing, but it’s a whole lot of darts and structuring to stop her from looking like a shapeless lump.”

“Oh, well, maybe we shouldn’t—” Jamie started to say.

“I’ll pay it,” Hunter said, reaching for his wallet.

“I can.” Hayden looked like he was just about to shove his twin out of the way, which meant I had to step in again.

“Are Mum and Dad coming as well?” I asked Hunter.
