His warm breath tickles my neck and it makes me giggle.
“What’s going on out there?” Tony asks in a joking voice from the kitchen.
Tugging at my pants band, I can tell Danny is about to reach in and grab my dick.
“Nothing!” I say, trying to wiggle free from his tight grip. “Not when they could walk in on us.”
Scooting over, I plop down back where I was just as Tony steps back into the room.
“Gin and tonic,” he says handing me my favorite drink.
“Beer for you,” he says to Danny.
Then he places a tall Long Island on the coffee table.
“What’s Bella having?” Danny asks, his free hand wrapping around me firmly.
I feel marked, as if I’m all his. But not in the same sense when Sal left all those marks on my skin…
I shut down these stupid comparative thoughts. They’re useless and will get me nowhere. I need to lean into Danny’s touch and enjoy it.
“Bella is a lightweight. She’s gonna stick to bubble water.”
“Alright.” Danny nods then takes a long swig of his drink.
I watch his Adam’s apple bob as he takes a long pull of his drink. Doing the same, I down half my drink.
Tony chuckles then sets his drink down and sinks back into the couch. He opens his arm for Bella and holds her. They’re so freaking cute.
I find myself studying them instead of the horror movie.
Bella’s got ruby red frames and orange hair. Freckles speckle her pale skin. She dresses like an art teacher, a long sleeve tie dye shirt of pink and blue, and black leggings with jean coveralls shorts over top. She’s almost ten years younger than him but they go together so well. She’s quiet and sweet and honestly, Tony is more outspoken than her but pretty quiet too.
They look so happy.
Could I look as content as them? Am I being too picky?
Before I know it my drink is gone, Danny is coaxing me off the coach, and Tony and Bella are hugging me goodbye.
“You okay buddy?” Tony whispers at the door.
I nod.
“Okay.”
“Thanks for tonight,” I say, patting him on the back.
“Get him home safe,” Tony says to Danny.
“Bye!” Bella says, waving excitedly.
“Bye!” Danny and I say in unison.
Danny has his arm slung around me as we walk down the steps and to his car. Even in the dark the cherry red car is bright and easy to find.
I don’t know if it’s the drink, or what, but my head is spinning and when Danny opens the door for me, I don’t get in.
Instead, I lean over and hurl into the grass.
