“Quinn, be serious.”
He shook his head. “I mean it. I don’t ever want to hear of you alone with one of them. Especially Dare.”
Sweeping my hands to my hips, I said, “You don’t honestly think I would be interested in your brothers?”
Quinn shrugged. “They’re handsome men.”
I rolled my eyes. “For starters, Callum is married, and I happen to like his wife a lot. Not to mention she’s pregnant. I’d have to be a ‘see you next Tuesday’ to do that to her.”
Frowning, Quinn asked, “A what?”
With a giggle, I replied, “A cunt.”
His eyes bulged at me using that word. “I can’t believe you said that.”
“Well, I didn’t at first until you made me explain myself.” Closing the gap between us, I pressed myself flush against his body. “I want you to listen to me and listen good. There is not a single Kavanaugh I want anything sexual to do with but you. There is no one inside or outside of your family that I want but you.”
“You really mean that, don’t you?”
“Yes, I do.”
Quinn cupped my face in his hands. “You truly are an angel heaven sent.”
“Now will you take me home and ravish me?” When he shook his head, I protested, “You promised.”
He flashed me a wicked grin that sent heat straight to my core. “I’m taking you upstairs instead.”
Chapter Twenty-Five: Quinn
Isla’s blue eyes popped comically wide at my declaration. It hadn’t been my intention when the night began. It came to me after seeing her reaction to the hotel. I’d wanted to do everything I could to make our first time together special. What better way to do that than to get one of the finest suites at the hotel. So, I’d dispatched Shane to make the necessary inquiries.
Cocking my brows at her, I asked, “Would you like me to take you upstairs now?”
“Yes, I would like that very much.”
I held out my hand to her, and she slipped hers into mine. With my free hand, I texted Callum to tell him we were heading out. I didn’t wait for his reply before I slid my phone back into my jacket pocket.
When we reached the elevators, Isla slipped her other hand around mine. I glanced down at her to see her biting her lip. After the elevator doors opened, I asked, “Nervous?”
“Just a little.”
After we stepped inside, I pulled her to my side. “There’s nothing to be nervous about, Little Dove.”
“I don’t want to disappoint you.”
“How could you possibly do that?”
An anxious laugh bubbled from her lips. “I think we’ve established my lack of experience.”
I took her chin between my fingers. “Just because the men you were with were inept, doesn’t mean you’re going to be an inept lover.”
Her brows creased with worry. “I hope not.”
Smiling down at her, I said, “Isla, you made me come in my pants like a teenage boy. None of the other dancers have ever done that.”
“Really?”
I nodded. “Besides, you could never disappoint me. I’ve had a taste, and I know I’m going to be addicted.”
