When I wake on Friday morning, it’s to the sound of an alarm. And it’s not mine. My eyes flutter open as Brock’s arms slide away from me to silence it. Then he’s right back beside me.

“Do you want to shower here?” he rasps.

“Yes,” I smile. “Then I’ll change at my place before going to work.”

“Will you wear a dress for me today?” he asks. “I mean…all day?”

“Yes,” I tell him. “I will.”

His smile is blindingly bright. Then he kisses me hard and all but yanks me out of the bed and leads me to the shower. This time, though, we do get a little dirty with some very sensual orgasms. By the time he puts me in my car, I’m happier than I’ve ever been. And I promise to be by his side in his office when he sends in his submission for the songwriting contest. Something that I am wildly excited about.

“See you soon, my goddess,” he smiles.

“Indeed,” I smile back.

It’s another hard kiss and then I’m on my way. When I get to my apartment, I rush into my closet and scour the assortment of dresses I’ve bought since I met Brock. Not wanting to give too much away, I choose something simple yet form fitting. There are cap sleeves, ruched sides, and it falls to my knees. The color is a deep purple.

Once I’m satisfied with my outfit, I go about pulling my hair up and applying just enough makeup to be noticed. Not something that I normally worry about. But I want to look as close to a goddess as possible for him today. Especially since he’s coming with me to meet my parents tonight. Something that he seems to be more excited for than I am.

When I walk into the building, no one else is here. Which is just fine for me. It’s bad enough that everyone has noticed my elated state since being with Brock. But once they see me today, God knows what they’ll think. Still, I’m loving my new confidence. Not just for me, but because I love the way Brock looks at me when I own myself. That kind of desire can’t be faked. And neither can all the orgasms we’ve shared over the last week-ish of our relationship.

With a smile I can’t seem to fight, I settle into my job. An hour passes before I get a call to see someone. In another minute, they’re across from my desk explaining their situation. An hour passes before I find them a resolution. Then I get back into my normal work. I’m so absorbed I never realize that it’s time to shut things down until one of the front office secretaries knocks on my door.

“Yes?” I say as I look up.

“It’s quitting time, lady,” she giggles. “Unless you have other plans…”

“Oh,” I gasp. “I guess I lost track of time.”

“I bet you did,” she grins. “Do you have a hot date with Dr. Rush?”

“No,” I breathe. “I…”

“Oh, give it up, Sadie,” she laughs lightly. “It’s no secret that he’s head over heels for you. And if you don’t mind me saying so, I think it’s a marvelous thing for you.”

“What?” I frown. “What do you mean by that?”

“Sadie, sweetie,” she sighs. “You’ve been hiding who you truly are for too long now. But Dr. Rush has brought you back to your true self. And I’m delighted to see it.”

“My true self?”

“Yes,” she says brightly. “Sadie, you are a gorgeous and brilliant woman. And I think Dr. Rush is the reason for this new you. Well, not the new you, but the real you.”

“Oh,” I giggle. “Okay.”

“Am I right?” she asks.

“Yes,” I nod. “You are.”

“Good,” she smirks. “So shut down for the day and let that man spoil you.”

“Spoil me?” I gasp.

“Yes, Sadie,” she says firmly. “And you need to let him.”

“Okay,” I giggle. “I’ll do my best.”

“I bet you will,” she says. “See you on Monday.”
