Before she knew it, it was eight o’clock and the bouncer had opened the doors. Men had quickly filled the tables that were scattered along the floor. The tables in front of the stage were being taken, too, along with the bar stools. Doors had only just opened and his place was already bringing in this many people. A couple of men from the bar looked her way and smiled. She quickly turned away and nervously tucked her hair behind her ear.

“Alright hon, Trixie is about to walk on stage,” Jazz said as she leaned against the bar next to her. “You’ll get some great pointers, she’s our biggest hit here.”

Vanessa sat there as the DJ started playing her intro. It thundered loudly from all around and then the lights went dim, leaving a hint of blush color reflecting on the stage.

Trixie walked out, as you heard men applaud and whistle. No one got up from their seats, they all remained seated.

She grabbed onto the iron pole in a seductive way, all while leaning her body away from it. Her long blond hair flowed loosely from behind her and she then dipped down slowly. She thrust both her hips out as she crouched down.

Vanessa felt a little unnerved and maybe slightly uncomfortable as she sat there watching Trixie. However, there was no denying that there was something about the way Trixie danced and moved her body that was empowering. The confidence that she had was admirable and beautiful. Vanessa found herself infatuated, almost enchanted by the way she danced. It was exotic and quite frankly, it was sexy. She wanted to be able to move like that.

Having taken her focus off of Trixie for a moment, she locked gazes with Jack, who was standing in the back near the bar. He wasn’t watching Trixie though. No, he was watching her.

He was holding her stare with his eyes and Vanessa felt like she was being locked into his trance. He looked at her with lust and hunger, like he enjoyed how she admired the erotic dancing. Her face warmed and she sucked in a breath.

More applause sounded in the background, cutting Vanessa’s focus from Jack’s. Trixie finished her number and the DJ moved onto another song.

“Wasn’t she amazing?” Jazz asked her from the stool next to her.

Vanessa turned her gaze back to where Jack was, but he was already gone.

“She was uh… truly something.”

“She brings in our biggest crowd. So, if you ever need any kind of advice, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind showin’ ya some pointers.” Vanessa let out a worried laugh.

She could almost guess that Trixie would rather shovel horse manure than help her. So, it left her with two dilemmas. Not only did she find her boss to be the hottest man she had ever seen, her only dance skill was being able to reenact the Macarena in college. Yeah, she was in trouble.
