Tyler handed me Tinsley and went to get dressed. “Don’t forget to potty first, Uncle Tyler,” she yelled as I laid her back on the bed.
“I love that you’re reminding Uncle Tyler to go to the bathroom.”
“Him’s just a baby.”
Laughing, I dry off her body. “I think he’s a big kid, baby.”
“No.”
“No?”
“He’s three.”
“Oh, wow. Only three, huh?”
“Yas-huh.”
I made a note to tease Tyler about that later as I rubbed Tinsley’s lotion over her body and kissed her belly.
“What kinda dress are we wearing tonight, baby? You want stars and moons or unicorns?”
She looked over the dresses before picking the unicorn one. I dressed her quickly and helped her slide on her shoes.
“Piggies?”
“Yeah, we can do piggies, little one.”
She sat on the chair and I brushed her hair into the two bumps she wanted.
“Beautiful,” Tyler said as he came from the second bedroom.
“Handsome,” she squealed when she saw his buttoned-up shirt.
“I agree, baby. Uncle Tyler looks very handsome.”

Holding Uncle Tyler’s hand, I followed him and Daddy into the restaurant. He lifted me onto a highchair and sat beside me. Daddy pulled his chair over and sat on the other side. “Be careful, little one. I don’t want you to fall.”
“Okay, Dada.”
I opened the menu and pretended to look over my options. It was silly, though, ‘cause Daddy was going to order for me. I kicked my legs and giggled, deciding I always wanted to sit at the tall tables.
“Let’s order a bottle of red to celebrate.”
“Red?” I perked up. I loved red wine.
Uncle Tyler chuckled “I don’t know, Teenie. Babies can’t have wine.”
“She thinks you’re only three, so you might want to watch your words.”
“Three?”
“Yas-huh. Just a baby.”
“I’m pretty sure I’m a full-grown man.” He laughed.
“Nu-huh,” I teased him.
