“Jesus woman. Looks like we’re going to be up all night again.”
“I hope you’re not tired.”
“You know I’m not.” I laugh and pick her up then set her on the bed.
She watches me take my clothes off and I love the desire in her eyes and the rosy stain of her cheeks.
I bend down to get a good taste of her pretty, pink pussy, before I bury my cock deep inside her, granting her first wish.
I land a fist in the punching bag and it bounces from the fierce impact.
I’m downstairs in the training room at the frat house.
Snow is blanketing outside so I can’t do my usual workout. I’ve been down here for three hours using the equipment.
This area is set up for serious training. I’m entering the UFC tournament in a few weeks, so I need to make sure I’m on my game.
My little deer and I got back from the Bahamas yesterday. We had such a blast it was hard coming back. I’ve had the best time of my life with her. Now we’re back for the second semester of college.
The time has flown by so fast I don’t know where it went. At least only good things are happening.
Caspian and I took over Ivanov Tech with ease. We’d been training to take over the company all our lives so we simply slipped into the shoes of the men we were meant to be.
The first thing I did when I got into that office was get rid of Aiden and his father. The two kicked up a stink but I quickly silenced them with the dirt I found on them being involved with smuggling shit into the country.
With them out of the way I could breathe.
Aleksander, on the other hand, is a shadow of his former self, but now when I see him I notice the effects of his illness.
Whatever he’s doing is helping to prolong his life, but since I’ve been keeping tabs on his progress I know the clock is still ticking over his head. The doctors still believe he only has a year to eighteen months to live, so his various treatments will only help until they stop.
Until then, I imagine he’ll continue being the dictator he is, but he’ll know that he’s on my time. Every time he looks at me he’ll be worried about what I could still take away from him.
And most of all, he’ll know I allowed him to keep his position.
For him that is the same as pity, the worst thing to an Ivanov man.
The door opens but I don’t break focus as I throw another series of punches at the bag and pivot into a perfect roundhouse kick.
It’s only then that I look around that I see Kade standing by the platform watching me.
He’s proven to be even better than I thought he’d be, but I think that’s because of the demons that still haunt him.
“Morning, boss.” He smirks. “If that bag were a man you would have destroyed him ten times over.”
“Something like that.” I nod at him and fix the support wrapping on my hands. “Whatever you want, you better talk fast. My girl should be here any minute.”
“Okay.” He chuckles. “I want you to train me.”
I give him a narrowed stare and grab my bottle of water from my side. “I already trained you, and you are part of my elite.”
“I know, but I don’t mean like that. Not like for the Reckoning. I know you were holding back, Thorne.”
I continue looking at him. He’s right. I was holding back. Most people don’t know that about me, unless I want them six feet under.
“What’s this about?”
“I need to get better. When I fight you I don’t need to hold back, but knowing you’re holding back means I’m not as good as I’d like to think I am.”
