The engine issue is sorted and we're in testing. I met the financial team yesterday. The launch team are in full steam and scheduled to meet tomorrow. Our new PR isn't due to start until Monday. Who the hell am I meeting with?

I shoved the door of the conference room open, stumbling to a halt in the entry, my gaze jumping around the room.

"What on—"

"Surprise!"

Millie threw her arms out, a giant smile on her face as my family, Keiko, and a small group of employees crowded around her, all of them laughing and smiling at my stunned expression. "Welcome to your logo launch."

I stared at the giant plant on the conference table, utterly speechless.

It's perfect.

A topiary tree's limbs were fashioned into the shape of a light bulb. Carved into a piece of old wood mounted on the wall were the words, Green ideas start here.

"Do you like it?" Millie asked, dancing from foot to foot as my family watched on.

"It's perfect."

"Oh, thank God." She stepped into my open arms, wrapping me in a tight hug. "I was so scared you'd hate it."

"It's…." I trailed off, searching the room to find James. He hovered near the back, his dark eyes meeting mine. He grinned, jerking his thumb at the slogan behind him.

"It fits, right?"

I nodded, forever thankful that I'd been able to share this journey with my best friend and brother.

"Well," Jay stepped forward, clapping me on the back. "You're ready to conquer the world now."

I cocked an eyebrow at him. "Because of a logo?"

He chuckled. "No, idiot. Because you found your other half."

The woman in my arms flushed furiously. "Jay!"

"What?" He shrugged innocently. "Just saying." He leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek. "Welcome to the family, Millie."

As my brother strolled away, I looked down, my heart full of love for this magnificent woman.

"He's the Wood part of Dogg Wood Industries, right?" Millie asked, watching Jay.

I nodded. "Jay fronted us the seed money and bought our first warehouse when we outgrew the garage. He's a silent partner. Owns ten percent of the company."

"So, he's a billionaire as well?"

I nodded.

Millie looked pointedly at Jay's feet. "Then why is he wearing crocs?"

I laughed. "Because he knows it'll piss his wife off, they'll fight, then he'll get make up sex later."

Millie snuggled back into me. "I'll note that for our future."

Possessive joy burned through me at her words.

I leaned down, cupping her face, capturing her gaze and holding it.

"I love you, Millie."
