“Come on,” Justin tugged him towards the door and Colton reluctantly followed. “Riley has some writing to do.”

I did but there was no way I was going to be able to focus and do it in this kitchen. Brewed Awakenings it was.

I typed the final word of the chapter. Checking to make sure the document was saved, I leaned back in my chair, arms above my head as I stretched out my aching back. The word count tracker in the corner of my screen showed my total word count for the last few hours. 6892. Almost a thousand more than what I needed.

I laughed to myself. I should have found this type of motivation years ago. Maybe I wouldn’t need to back off my production schedule after all. I glanced around the coffee shop, making eye contact with Maya who was wiping off one of the tables.

“All finished?” Maya asked me, holding out their hand for my mug.

“I am, thanks.”

“Of course. Did you want another drink?”

“No, thank you. I think I’m done for the day.” It was almost lunchtime and my stomach was loudly protesting that all it had eaten today was a breakfast sandwich when I first arrived at the cafe.

“Productive day?” Maya and their coworkers knew I was a writer from our conversations over the last week. They were a friendly group and very welcoming. Maya already promised to pick up one of my books to read and I had emailed Ryan and asked him to send me a copy.

“Very. Hey, is there any place to get lunch to go?” Brewed Awakenings mainly had breakfast pastries.

“The grocery store’s deli has great sandwiches if that’s what you’re in the mood for.”

“That sounds perfect, thanks!” The guys hadn’t taken any food earlier and from the scattered text messages I had this morning, I knew they were neck deep in paperwork. I could surprise them and share my word count. My stomach clenched thinking about what Justin had in store for us tonight. Ever since our date a few days ago, it felt like our relationship had hit a new level. I never dreamed I would find one man I wanted to spend time with much less two as perfect as Justin and Colton were.

Twenty minutes later, I pushed open the door to their office, three stacked sandwiches and some bags of chips in a plastic bag.

Vicky looked up as I entered. Was she filing her nails? She frowned at me. “They’re busy.” She told me flatly, looking me up and down like I was shit beneath her shoes.

“That’s okay. They know I’m coming.” Which was a total lie as I was surprising them but I didn’t let her stop me, instead breezing past her and ignoring her mutterings and death glare as I knocked on the door to Colton’s office.

Justin answered, a scowl on his face that melted away when he saw it was me. He quickly pulled me inside. “Sorry, thought you were Vicky. She hasn’t left us alone all morning and we’ve been trying to get this done.”

I eyed Colton’s desk which looked like a paper mill exploded on it. “Isn’t paperwork part of her job responsibilities?” She didn’t seem like a very good receptionist but I also knew that my personal opinion of the woman probably colored my judgment.

Colton stood up from behind the desk to give me a kiss. “We tried to give it to her when she first started but she made a bigger mess than you see here so we suffer through it twice a month.”

I bit my tongue against the comment I wanted to make and held up the bag instead. “Well, I bring sustenance in the form of sandwiches and chips from the deli.”

Justin pecked my lips as he took the bag from me. “You’re a goddess.”

“Thank you,” I said lamely as I blushed at the compliment. “I can leave if you need to focus on this.”

“Nope, you’re never a bother.” Colton said, dragging me to the couch. Justin dug out some bottles of water from the mini-fridge in the corner and took a seat on the other side of me, passing out the sandwiches and chips.

After we finished eating, Colton placed all our trash in the same bag. Justin shifted to pull me into his lap, my feet on Colton’s lap. I snuggled against him and Colton stroked my ankles as I took a few moments to just decompress as the guys chatted about the paperwork.

“Are you headed back to Brewed Awakenings after this?” Justin asked softly.

I had forgotten to tell them when I walked in that I finished. “I actually wrote almost 7,000 words this morning,” I said, preening in his lap. “So I’m ready for my reward tonight.”

“Good girl.” There were those blasted two words again. I squirmed on Justin’s lap. He groaned so softly I almost missed it. He looked at Colton and a silent look passed between them. “Why wait till tonight though?”

I looked up at him, eyebrows raised. Here? With miss priss outside? Actually the idea wasn’t bad if it meant she would cool it with the death glares. Not likely but a girl could hope. As if reading my acceptance through my body language, Justin nudged me towards Colton.

“Why don’t you wrap those pretty lips around his cock? Colton’s been working hard all morning.”

“That sounds like a reward for Colton not me,” I sassed him even as I moved towards Colton on my knees. Before Colton, blowjobs were just one of the things I did during sex but with him, I started enjoying him. Probably because he was never demeaning and made me feel powerful about being able to bring him to his knees.

“It is but you’ll need something in your mouth to muffle those sweet noises you make when you come while I fuck you.”
