Page 12 of Tiny's Law

Lately, it’s just been one thing after the fucking next.

Chaos surrounds us.

Ghost, our president and one of my best friends, is barking orders near the door while the women huddle around a laboring Pebbles as we try to figure out how the fuck to get out of here.

One minute we were enjoying our annual Halloween party, and the next, smoke started billowing from the kitchen. We discovered we’re trapped in the clubhouse with the only two exits barricaded.

Bull and Ringer climbed out Ghost’s office window a few minutes ago to figure out what the fuck is going on and how to get us the hell out of here. The rest of us are still stuck inside.

Well, not if I have anything to say about it. I’m rigging up a small explosive to the front door, just in case we need to use it. The danger of it exploding and injuring quite a few people is too high, so this is technically plan B and I really don’t want to fucking use it.

I get everything situated except for the actual explosive itself, which only needs one more part connected before being operational, and back away from the door. Turning towards my laptop, my fingers fly over the keys as I try to get the outside cameras back online to determine if I can see what the hell’s going on out there.

Ghost’s phone rings behind me, and my shoulders lose some of their tension as I hear him talking to Ringer. Just as I’m able to access the front camera, I watch Bull climb into Brenna’s junker car. Fucker’s trying to hotwire the thing.

“Mhm, ok,” Ghost grumbles and shoves his phone into his pocket. “Get everyone the fuck out of the way!” he bellows.

I slam my laptop closed and use my size to my advantage as I hold my arms out and guide people away from the door. Trigger goes over to the women and holds a huffing Pebbles as the rest of the women fret over her. I vaguely notice Ghost jogging over to the front door and knocking on it a few times before a huge crash and the sounds of splintering wood echo throughout the club.

Ghost ushers all of us brothers into his office after hearing what Ringer and Bull have to say. Trigger takes off right away to get his woman to the hospital, and a few of the other guys trail behind to take the rest of the women behind them. This leaves a handful of us to go hunt.

Ghost lays down a game plan that has us taking off in groups of two to different parts of town. Minutes later, we’re heading off into the night on what I have a gut feeling is a wild goose chase. These fuckers have at least a 30-minute head start on us.

Razor rides parallel to me as we head out toward my warehouse and search the surrounding streets. Slowing down at the stop light ahead, Razor pulls his phone out of his pocket, and after reading his screen, he yells over the loud pipes of our bikes, “Ghost called it. Head to the hospital.”

I nod in acceptance, and as soon as the light turns green, I guide my bike to turn left before opening up the throttle as I head toward the highway.

Minutes later, we pull into the parking lot and guide our bikes right next to the large group of bikes already parked. I pull my ball cap down on my head backward and sling my laptop bag across my shoulder.

Razor shakes his head with a smirk. “You ever go anywhere without that thing?”

“Fuck off.” I flick him off and follow as his boots crunch against the pavement towards the entrance.

We find the entire waiting room full of every member of the Desert Outlaws family sprawled out across every surface. I park my ass in an uncomfortable as fuck chair and pry open my laptop.

I lose myself in flying through every single camera I can gain access to across town in an attempt to catch any glimpse of the two men who crashed our party and threatened our family. I have a feeling these men are linked to every other thing that has happened.

There’s no way they aren’t.

Texas’s equally large frame is testing the limits of the chair next to me. He sits with his head back against the wall and his eyes closed. Every so often, his loud ass lets out a snore, interrupting my focus.

I’m unsure of how much time has passed before Maria flings open the door of the waiting room, announcing the arrival of the two newest little Outlaws.

Ringer, Flame, and Ghost step into the hallway while Maria gushes to her husband about her new pseudo-grandbabies.

I focus back on my screen and almost shout in relief as I catch the smallest glimpse in the corner of one of my frames. My mind shuts out the outside world, and I let my fingers go to work.

Hours later, the fuckface cop Truden is waiting at the clubhouse with an arrest warrant for Ringer.

As soon as my brother is being pulled away in the back of a cop car, Lilah begins sobbing in her dad’s arms. Ghost bellows could be heard from California. “Tiny, find me some fucking names!”

As if I’m not fucking working on it, brother.

I follow behind him towards his office. My eyes widen in surprise when he waves to his desk for me to sit.

Pulling the chair in, I set up my laptop and go to work. I was close as hell back at the hospital, but unfortunately, I hit a firewall that was giving me a hard time. I’ll get it, though. Now with Ringer getting arrested, I don’t give a fuck what I have to do. I’ll find it.

While I work, I can hear the rest of the guys brainstorming about what to do. Lilah asks about getting Ringer a lawyer, and Ghost has to tell her that Big Roy has retired.
