My body reacts with a rush of blood that settles right into my groin and I push my hips forward to make her feel what she does to me.
Her blue eyes are so wide and full of the same desire that’s invading every cell in my body.
They say you never forget your first and I hope it’s true. I hope my kisses, my touch, my gaze are burned into her memory forever—fuck.
I stop in my tracks, staring at Lakyn’s blue eyes, behind the large frame of her lenses.
That sense of deja-vu I experienced earlier is back with renewed power, but this time it hits me what I’m actually remembering. “It was you,” I say, fighting to keep that feeling from slipping back into the depths of my subconscious.
“Yeah,” she says, her hands going on an exploration of their own as she feels the corded muscles in my back. “It was me. Unless you went to see another girl after we were done, I don’t see?—”
I know I have a playboy reputation and I didn’t do anything to change that when I first arrived on campus, but I let Lakyn’s little dig go. I’m not offended that she’s bringing it up and hopefully I’ll have the chance to show her that I played the field only because I hadn’t met anyone worthy of my undivided attention.
“It was you,” I repeat. “The first time I came to the library, right behind this shelf.”
There’s a moment of hesitation in her eyes, but then she nods. “You remember?”
“I do,” I say, tangling my fingers into the silky strands of her blonde hair. “I was here with some girls and one of them was giving me head. She wasn’t very good at it and I was about to tell her to stop when I met your eyes from a gap in these books.”
The memory of the fire her blue eyes stoked in me that day is enough to make my pulse quicken, but I resist the urge to kiss her again. “You have no idea how many times I thought about that moment in the following weeks, bella. I was wondering who the mysterious girl was. I was dying to meet her.”
“Really?” she asks, hesitant.
“Davvero (really), the only thing that made me forget about her was when I actually met you. I’m sorry I didn’t realize that earlier, but I hadn’t recognized you without your glasses on.”
Something passes in her gaze. Her eyes leave mine as redness appears on her face. “I’m sorry if I stood there watching. It was?—”
“It was fucking hot,” I say, nipping at her bottom lip and then sucking it right into my mouth. “I should have known it was you.”
She looks at me with a hint of amused doubt in her eyes. “It would have been impossible for you to know. When I realized what you were doing, I hid.”
I think about it for a second. “Were you mad at me for doing something prohibited in the library?”
Her blush deepens. “How do you know?”
“The library is sacred to you,” I chuckle. “But you must have liked what you saw because you didn’t rat me out and you didn’t interrupt.”
Lakyn considers my words for a moment. “You’re right, I was mad. But not just because you were doing something that isn’t allowed in the library.”
I tuck a strand of her long blonde hair behind her ear. Lakyn Woods fascinates me not just because she’s beautiful. It’s the fire that burns under her quiet exterior that draws me to her and I love her sharp sense of humor. It’s no surprise that she’s the girl I secretly fantasized about for weeks. “Why were you mad, bella?”
She bites on her bottom lip, as if pondering if she should come clean. I can see the moment she makes her decision in the determination that shines in her blue eyes.
“Because the second I saw you come into the library with those girls, I thought you were the most gorgeous guy I’d ever seen,” she admits. “I hated that you were with those girls and I was secretly jealous that it wasn’t me who was making you break the rules and feel so good.”
This is why after the initial attraction to her gorgeous exterior, Lakyn kept my interest. She isn’t just smart and funny, she’s also fierce and brave. She’s honest about her feelings even when she’s embarrassed. She doesn’t play games like most of the girls I’ve met so far. “But it was you, who made me feel good,” I say, our faces so close that our noses are touching. “I told you that girl didn’t know what she was doing and I was about to tell her to stop, until I caught your eyes. You made me come without even touching me, Lake.”
She grabs me, fisting the fabric of my t-shirt in her dainty hands. “You’re the worst, Luca,” she says, but there’s no heat in her tone.
Or at least, the heat there is isn’t anger. It’s the kind of heat I love to see in the blue depths of her gaze.“I’m sorry,” I chuckle again. “Am I breaking the rules again?”
She nods. “All sorts of rules. You’re making out back here and you’re making me shirk my duties. I should be working rather than thinking about making you come. Not just with my eyes this time.”
Fuck.
I’m so hard that if she keeps saying this stuff and looking at me the way she is, I might blow my load without her even touching my cock. Again.
As if reading my thoughts, her hands fly to the button of my jeans.
