FUCK, I’M SO NERVOUS.
Ausra looks like a goddess in her light blue bikini. It hugs her curves perfectly and the memory of how soft her body felt last night is still fresh to the point that I had to really fight the urge to take her into my arms again.
I’ve never been this nervous with other girls but then again it’s always been a one and done before her. I had no idea what kind of drinks any of those girls liked or how they curled up the corner of their lips ever so slightly, whenever Shep says something goofy.
I rush into my bathroom and as I grab a bottle of sunscreen, I level a hard stare at my own reflection. “Be cool, you stupid motherfucker!” I warn the guy in the mirror. “Just let things happen naturally. Your friends promised to stay away until tomorrow night, so you have two days to score some points. Just get out of your own head and don’t think that you’re fucking losing.”
The pep talk doesn’t do much, I feel like an idiot talking to myself. I just have to remember that I’m not fourteen anymore. That I might never have had a girlfriend but I’ve fucked plenty of girls and even a few women. I’ve never had a complaint. The only reason why I never had a repeat performance, is that I never wanted to. It wasn’t that my hookups didn’t ask for more.
I glance at myself again one last time. I seriously must relax and not fuck this up.
“Here we are,” I say, sitting on the end of her lounger and showing her the sunscreen bottle. “Scoot.” I coax her.
I pour a small amount of sunscreen on my palm and dip a finger in it coating her nose as she comes closer.
She giggles. So fucking cute.
“I can do it myself, you know?” she says it smiling as my fingers trail over her cheekbones.
“Nah. You can’t see what you’re doing. And trust me, the others will kill me if you get sunburn on my watch.”
She scrunches up her nose in disagreement. “I’m not a child, Ash. Or a pet. You know I can take care of myself, right?”
Yeah, what did I just say? I’m fucking this up. Big time. “I didn’t mean—”
She dips her own finger in the little pool of sunscreen on my palm and dots the tip of my nose with it. “You’re tanned but you need sunscreen too. Or you’ll peel. You don’t want to ruin all that golden, smooth skin. Do you?”
I smile at the way her eyes skim over my chest and abs, she doesn’t try to hide the heat in her blue gaze. That makes me feel better. If she likes what she sees, it means that she’s ok being here with me.
“Anyway,” she says, rubbing her hand against mine and messily smearing the coconut scented sunscreen over my jaw, “We can finish this later. No point applying sunscreen everywhere before we go for a swim. It’s too hot here and I need to cool down.”
She stands up giggling and runs toward the water, turning her head to see if I follow.
I reach her with two short strides, grabbing her at the waist and hoisting her over my shoulder, fireman style. Like I did last night.
“Ash!” She yelps in a fit of giggles. “Put me down!”
I don’t comply, running into the sea and purposely splashing around as much water as I can, soaking us both.
I stop where the water comes barely to my hips and slowly slide her down my chest.
Rather than standing on her own two feet, she wraps her thighs around me, surrounding my neck with her arms.
“I thought you wanted to cool down?” I tease her when I realize that she’s trying to avoid touching the water.
“I hadn’t realized how cold the water was, you ass!” She giggles. “I planned to get in slowly but you ran in fast.”
This is fun. “Oh, I see. You’re a wimp.” I tease her.
She immediately reacts. “No, I’m not!”
My smile widens. “Then you won’t have a problem if I lower us into the water ...”
I don’t give her a chance to reply, I just sink down to my knees and I can’t help but laugh when she squeals.
“Oh, fuck! It’s so cold!”
Her thighs tighten around my hips as she tries to climb higher on my body to keep her sexy butt out of the water.
