“I’ll behave. Sort of. I’ll bend over for him, it’ll be fine,” I teased, making sure my clothes were on straight before grabbing everything else and letting Mason lead me towards my car. I noticed Wolfe sitting in a car close by with an annoyed look on his face, and Mason grimaced as he took off, knowing he could ride with me.
“He’s in a mood today.”
“He’s always in a mood, it’s why I’ve got to fuck him all the time to stop him murdering people,” I said dryly, tossing him the keys to let him drive.
I didn’t bother fixing my makeup until I’d gotten to the guys’ house and showered, and I wasn’t surprised when Channing walked into the bathroom just as I was fixing my hair. I hissed out a breath as he wrapped his fingers around my arm, tearing one of my stitches.
“This shit better not happen tonight. I mean it,” he warned, releasing me with a scowl. “We don’t need Ryder’s parents rocking up or sending your dad here to find you. If you freak out and start waving a knife around again, you’re getting a smack in the mouth and tossed out the door. Understand?”
“I’m fine. You need to drain your balls? You’re grumpy,” I chuckled, grabbing the towel to dab at the blood forming where he’d torn the stitch.
“You’d better be fine. At least Ryder will be here to deal with your crazy ass from the beginning.”
“Ry’s coming?” I asked lightly, but inside, I was bursting with excitement.
“Yeah. It was before Mason invited you, so he might not want to stay if he gets here and sees you. You’re a mood killer, you know that?” He leaned closer, a nasty grin on his face. “And now you’re exchanging sexual favors for drugs and money? I’m surprised it took so long for you to open for business.”
“You get it for free still, don’t worry.”
“I know. You’re not worth the money,” he answered, glancing at his phone as it rang, not speaking to me as he pressed it to his ear and walked out.
I checked my makeup one last time before wandering down to the kitchen, finding Mason fiddling with the music while Wolfe set up the keg. A few girls giggled outside, splashing around the pool, and I popped a pill into my mouth as I poured a beer to wash it down.
“Help yourself,” Wolfe scowled from beside the keg, and I offered him a pill with a grin.
“I intend on it. Take a pill and fuck me. Maybe you’ll even smile.”
“I’m good.”
“C’mon, smile for me,” I teased, and he fisted my hair to yank me closer.
“You’re not happy unless you’re stuffed with cock, are you?”
Channing snorted as he joined us. “She’s not happy stuffed either. Happy people don’t bury their emotions behind drugs and sex.”
“Fuck off, Chan. You don’t know me,” I threw back, and he raised an eyebrow.
“I’ve fucked every damn hole in your body without having to try. I know you as much as I want to.”
“Yet you keep doing it. I’m the one in control since you keep running back to fuck me.”
“That’s not the flex you think it is,” he replied, switching the subject to party stuff with Wolfe, so I joined Mason, who gave me a look of appreciation.
“Don’t know why I bothered telling you to get dressed. I’m going to be tearing that off you soon.” He opened his mouth as I held up a pill, letting me slide it between his lips.
“Soon. Wait until Ry’s here, we can have fun again,” I winked, amusement filling his face.
“I don’t think he’ll be interested.”
“He will be,” I shrugged, offering him my beer.
Within less than an hour, the house was bursting with people. I was on the kitchen counter dancing with Mason when Ryder walked in, his eyes finding mine instantly. He seemed to realize I was waiting for him and scowled, stalking away and making Mason chuckle. “I think you’re out of luck tonight.”
“He’ll come around,” I answered, grinding on him and loving the tingles that shot across my skin as his fingers ran across my back.
Sure enough, after thirty minutes of dancing, Ryder appeared beside us.
“You’re going to fall.”
