Elder William let out a very deep sigh of relief as he bent over, trying to catch his breath. “Phew! That was close,” he muttered to himself.

“Can you be ready in ten?” he asked, unable to stop smiling.

“Yes, I can.”

“Okay. I'll see you in ten, then.”

“See you in ten.” She ended the call.

“You did it, Romeo. You actually pulled it off.” Admiration was palpable in his eyes.

“I told you I would.” Asher got out of his chair, smiling to his ears. “Now, if you don't mind, I have a date with the most beautiful woman in the world.”

As he rushed out, Elder William called to him.

“Asher!”

He turned.

“I'm proud of you.” He smiled and nodded.

Asher reciprocated the gesture and left the office.

His plan was rather simple: to get her mad and get her out of her room so her two maidens would decorate the room in her absence and drop the surprise box on her bed. He knew they could do all of that in a space of a few minutes. They were werewolves, so they were faster than humans, meaning that they had the element of time.

They were to decorate the room with balloons, the bed with red roses, and the floor with lit candles. A banner was supposed to hang across the room, and it was supposed to have a boldly written question on it in uppercase: “WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?”

Inside the surprise box was a beautiful red gown and a pair of heels.

He knocked on her door when it was time to come get her.

“Come on in!” she said.

Asher opened the door and saw her standing amongst some candles, their lights adding to the ambiance of the beauty he was beholding.

His jaw dropped, and he stood there speechless in his expensive black suit.

The gown fit her perfectly, revealing her slender frame and contours. Her lipstick complemented the color of her gown in a seamless blend. Her eyes sparkled, widening as she smiled. Her long, wavy black hair was piled up to the back of her head and clipped so her round face came into view.

Her teeth seemed to be whiter this evening as she smiled, blushing sheepishly.

He observed that the heels he was a little bit skeptical about actually fit her feet perfectly.

As he walked through the candles that lined the entrance, his heart raced, as if he were approaching a goddess.

The air around her smelled nice, her perfume was refreshing, and she was glowing in elegance.

“Hi,” she said, her eyebrows battering at him.

“Hi,” he replied, swooning over her beauty. “You look…Amazing.Gorgeous.” Asher meant every word. “My God, you look like a goddess.”

She blushed. “Thank you.”

He gently ran the back of his finger over her face, feeling the softness of her skin. The maidens had done a good job decorating the room as he had instructed, but his focus was on his wife.

“Have I told you that you look good in a suit?” she asked, subtly drooling over him.

“Do I?” He smiled.
