“Yeah,” I grunted. “I bet.” I yanked up his shirt so I could see his sexy ass body. His abs were so tight and defined I could bounce quarters on them. “I’m impressed.”

He smirked. “Yeah? You should be. It took me three years of nonstop training to look like this.”

I was about to steal another kiss when I heard my sister scream.“What the fuck?”

I pulled away from Sonny and rushed down the hallway toward the sun deck. He was at my side, pulling the shirt over his stomach as we approached the commotion.

Luca, Damian, and Bastian boarded the yacht uninvited. The two adopted Salvatore brothers surrounded Marcello, trying to intimidate him, but he was more muscular and taller. Luca seized this opportunity to take advantage of my sister. He looked at her like he wanted to hurt her. A rush of anger and fear coursed through me.

Fuck no.

The blood boiled in my veins as I approached Luca. “Get the fuck away from my sister.”

He rolled his eyes. “Alex was promised to me.”

“Like fucking hell she was,” I snapped, the anger shaking through me. “I don’t care how much money you have. You’ll never be good enough for her.”

I latched onto Alex’s hand and led her away from this fucking monster. Glaring at Luca first, I studied each of the Salvatore brothers, wondering why the fuck they were here.

“Why did you scream?” I shoved the curls out of Alex’s eyes and inspected her face. “Did they hurt you?”

She shook her head, chest rising and falling with each breath. “I thought they were going to hurt Marcello.”

Marcello argued with Bastian and Damian, throwing his weight into their chests. They were trying to start a fight and ruin our day. Everything was perfect before they showed up.

Sonny shoved his fingers into his mouth and whistled, his gaze on the Salvatore brothers. “What are you doing on my boat? You weren’t invited.”

Luca stepped forward, dressed in a tailored suit, adjusting a red tie around his neck with a nasty stare aimed at me. He appeared older than eighteen and reminded me of his father.

Cold, calculating, and scary.

One day, Luca would take over for Arlo Salvatore and become the next Grand Master of The Devil’s Knights. I hoped to get Alex away from this place before we had to fulfill the deal with our grandfather.

“Alex belongs to me,” Luca said to Sonny before setting his sights on Marcello. “Not my little brother. She’s done hanging out with you losers.” He extended his hand and wiggled his fingers. “It’s time to leave, Drea.”

Drea?

I stepped to Luca, hands balls into fists at my sides. “What the fuck did you just call her?”

Luca’s jaw clenched. “None of your fucking business.”

Alex squeezed my bicep to gain my attention. “Aid, please.” Her gaze flicked to Luca, and I nearly lost it when she licked her lips. “You don’t have to act all crazy.”

“Do you actually like this fucking asshole?”

“Aiden,” she whispered. “Just leave it alone, okay?”

“No fucking way,” I shot back. “I didn’t make a deal with Carl so you could marry a prick like him.”

“Let her go, Wellington.” Luca offered his hand to Alex. “Come here, Drea.” This time, he said it with fire in his tone, his eyes on me.

Alex’s full name was Alexandrea, so I got the reference, but I didn’t like this asshole giving my sister nicknames. She pretended to hate the Salvatore brothers, but I was missing something. Anyone in their vicinity could see they had a connection. The air practically crackled with electricity when they looked at each other.

I hated it.

With his brothers surrounding him, Luca smirked at me as if he won. No one ever told him no. He was a spoiled brat who always got what he wanted. But there was no way in hell my sister was leaving with them.

Keeping my arm hooked around Alex, I gritted my teeth at Luca. “My sister will never be yours. Over my dead body.”
